Didn't you know? The Yakuza is in charge of the coin mints. They make the 10 Yen coins uneven so that they can always win coin flips.
...That was a joke, but to be honest, I wouldn't be too surprised...
Maybe you just have really good coin flipping technique.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

One side of the coin will weigh more than the other, due to the patterns and stuff printed on them being different. It will effect the flip result.

Hey.
SO POLITICS AND STUFF LOOKAT ME I'M ACTUALLY PAYING ATTENTION TO THEM
There was that Texas thing! And then there was that DOMA and Prop 8 thing!
I honestly had to stop working for a bit because I started tearing up when I read the DOMA news. When I was on the scotus live blog, waiting for the ruling, I was trembling so bad. Easily one of the most nerve wracking experiences of my life. Then it was followed up by the Prop 8 ruling (which for a second was un-clear on the liveblog and made me terrified for about 20 seconds until they clarified) and the happy tears returned. So glad none of my coworkers decided to come into my cube at that time. Could have been a tad embarrassing.
God it made me so happy. I know it's far from some magical, perfect solution or anything, but a ruling the other way would have just been devastating.
I could have then chosen to go pick a fight as I'm wont to do by looking at articles and twitter feeds of government officials and others who strongly disprove of the ruling (okay, I admit, I couldn't help it, I did do some poking around for a minute or two), but then I decided this was allowed to be me happy time and I should stop ruining stuff like that.
I know we've got the LGBTQ thread and stuff, but I'm not looking to discuss anything here. Just looking to celebrate.

Hi! Gah, I thought I've have plenty of time to work on today's update after I got back from touring but there were so many e-mails I needed to deal with and I don't have today's strip done and I need to sort through my photos... Yeah, this update could be a bit late...

Hi!
We finally got another dog! Her name is Bella and she is a sixth month old border collie, some sort of terrier mix.
Lovely dog and dead cute.

Moi,
So...I may not have been all that busy this week, but my cat certainly has. In the past week he has brought two dead animals into the house. One, that I found last night, was a mouse, and the other that he brought in a few days ago was a bird...A freakin' BIRD (specifically, a robin). He is not a big cat, he was the runt of his liter, so I do wonder how he managed to kill it...Though, to be fair, it did look like a juvenile bird.
So...yeah, that was fun...
Oh, and I have started my volunteer work at...I suppose the best way to descibe it would be a bike charity. They take in bikes from all over the local area, fix them up if possible (or give the scrap away so others can sell it) and then give them away to people in the community.
On Saturday, I was working on sorting out bikes, seeing whether they could be fixed or if they would be scrapped for parts. Quite a bit of heavy lifting. Later I worked with one of the lead mechanics on fixing up some bikes and generally learning the ropes. I can say that I now know a lot more about bikes then I did a week or two ago...and I also learned that WD-40 is the foil of duct-tape in the bike world...I suppose. If you need something to stay together, use duct tape; you want something to come apart, use WD-40.
Well, that's all I got. Stay radical, people! Peace off!

Aloha!
WD-40 is the duct tape of all mechanic work. In general, if something doesn't work, it means it isn't lubricated enough. Even if that thing is a tire.
Also, I've done a lot of yardwork in the last few days, between staining a deck and disposing of a tree that we cut down. I gotta say, I'm quite exhausted.

Moi,
Yeah, the mechanic I (and my dad as well, since anyone under 18 need to have adult supervision) worked with used WD-40 several times when she was showing me how to fix certain problems on the bikes. It works like a charm too.
Oh, other then my volunteer work, I'm also trying to find some other things to do this summer. I mean, no matter how much I believe I could, I can't sit in front of my computer all summer.
So far, I've done something I wish I could have done a year or so ago. I bought Super Smash Bros Brawl! (Yeah, I'm a bit behind the times. I don't even own a 3DS or anything like that...) I found some old amazon gift cards laying around and thought, hey, why not? I kind of bought it as a present to myself since I didn't get all that much for my birthday...Dang, buying birthday presents for myself. That's...actually kind of sad...oh well, video games!
I also decided that I should try to read a bit this summer as well. I looked into my book shelf and found four stories that I've been meaning to read/finish for a while now. I've got Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, Paradise Lost, and I'm hoping to finish up The Divine Comedy. Last year, I started to read it, but I got stuck somewhere in Purgatory (ha ha) and never quite got back into it. Hopefully, I'll at least get out of Purgatory and maybe a bit into Paradise.
So...that's my plan...I might also work a bit on my sprites that I've been posting in my art thread.
And...yeah...stay radical, people!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Pretty worn out right now from yesterday and today's touring (details coming in the next PV update). But hey, at least the site went back online before I left for that, so I had just enough time to update.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I bought Super Smash Bros Brawl!
TBF, games like that don't exactly ever go down in price either, Super Mario Sunshine over here in the UK went down from £30 to like £25 then £20 then I saw it at £25 again. Nintendo games like Brawl don't go in the bargain bin, so I can understand putting off buying it this long as it doesn't really go any cheaper.
Speaking of cheap, I got Injustice for £25 new yesterday, bargain! Still looking for The Last of Us a bit cheaper though.
With me already buying Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Fire Emblem (Totally recommend this game!) Lego City Undercover and now Injustice I've bough a lot of games this month already.
TBF, I got Luigi's Mansion free though as it was buy 3 games and get a free downloaded game.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
There continues to be not too much exciting going on in my life. Work. Playing League. Watching TV.
Oh, I guess I bought a keyboard today? That was actually really exciting for me. Now I'll have a piano in my room at school. And, since I name my instruments, I now am under the self-inflicted pressure of deciding upon an appropriate name for my keyboard.
UNDER PRESSURE
PUSHING DOWN ON ME, PUSHING DOWN ON ME
BUT my keyboard is beautiful and I love it.
ALSO Fire Emblem is one of my favourite series ever and I am so crushed that I can't play Awakening because I don't own a 3DS. I've played every English FE (excluding Awakening) and some Japanese ones. I am also crushed that I cannot play New Leaf for the same reason I cannot play Awakening.

Just set up a Kickstarter for the "Saber Knight wants a 3DS to play these games" fund. Based on how the internet works, you might actually get it...
Or, y'know, wait for a birthday or something.
But they're both freaking awesome and you won't be disappointed~
