The thing is... you're less likely to be a bum if you stay single forever. Staying single = no kids = not spending however many millions it costs to raise a child = having more money = not being a bum. And besides that, staying asexual is better than having a new boyfriend/girlfriend every week. And I, for one, feel extremely grateful to live in an era where people aren't expected to get married when they're fourteen. And in fact it's looked down upon to do so.

And so many bisexuals around here! Well, aren't you all lucky that we live in an era where that's ok too, hm? ...I guess I am as well though...

Man, that's rough, WS. It's always weird to think that someone so young is dead, isn't it? I've heard people say that kids think they're immortal, but I wouldn't necessarily say I apply that to myself... definitely to the people around me though. And I mean, it's possible for any person to die at any time, technically... car crashes and terminal illnesses can't be predicted and, hell, half the people I know are struggling with depression. But it still doesn't register as something that could actually happen... it's just weird to think about it.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! Neo brings up a good point. I've been moving lately. I don't even know if I'll be Florida for all that much longer. Part of me wants to wait until I'm more settled before getting into any sort of serious relationship. Then again, I have no idea when that's going to be so...

Hello friends!

....O-oh my. I disappeared again for too long haven't I. Last time I posted was after my computer was out of commission and I guess I haven't visited since. My bad...!
Wait a minute. Actually, I think the main reason I haven't been around is because I must have sold my soul to other communities? Oops!

Haha, I guess I'll just be walking in and out of here then, but I want to keep visiting because I think you guys have a lot of interesting opinions Despite the fact that I never contribute to them, OTL.. D-don't mind me as I just walk in and suddenly change whatever topic was currently being discussed, haha..ha. *awkward Puyon casually dances off stage*

Greetings.

Hmm sexuality, one of the guys I work with is homosexual, and actually very passionate about the whole 'same-sex marriage' thing. (Not legal here currently).
I have no problem obviously, I have both homosexual and bi-sexual friends. From what I gather most of them were worried about how their parents would react when told. I guess my best advice would be that if you know your parents will react badly to it is to (I know this will sound very harsh) but wait until either they work it out themselves and bring it up with you or till you move out.
As for being open about it, in the words of Genie Bee yourself. ^_^ (I love Disney references, and the Genie is just plain awesome. . . hmm I wanna watch Alladin now.)

In other new Kaida's first day of Uni tomorrow. Kaida is both excited and nervous. She expects it to be something similar to tafe. But yeah. Kaida currently is wondering if she should get her knives sharpened. . .

Hi!

Congrats Kaida, just make sure you do your work, take notes, and don't slack off at all while at Uni, especially when nearing the end of the semester, otherwise, things are going to suck. My first semester of college, I went to a campus about an hour away from the coast, and while I did take notes, did my homework, and tried to adapt, I failed to keep in contact with my parents, and get other things taken care of, so I had a freakout, alot, and got yelled at over the phone, and got visits from mom near the end of that semester. Of course, that semester also made me realize my dad was a manipulative jerk who had been screwing with my head for a while, so yeah....

Anyway, good luck Kaida.

Hey, did I mention my the older of my two older sisters got married in September and is pregnant now? I'm gonna be an uncle. Yay. ^^ In other news, I had a girlfriend for like 5 months, but cuz long distance is effing horrible, we decided to just stop back to being friends. Yay mutual non-messy break-ups!

In other news, I find life pointless. Just, nothing here will amount to much. If there's one thing that the scientific and religious community can agree on, it's that the world will end, and that death is inevitable. This planet doesn't matter much. Kinda just waiting it out until I die, really. Is that sad? That I don't really give a crap about anything anymore? :/

Good luck Kaida.

Saber, I must Tetris battle you. Also, Wicked was just in Austin. I love that musical. And I like how you said "score" about your friend getting into a relationship XD

What is the point of teenage dating? You're hormonal, so your emotions are clouded, you're at that just right balance of immature and mature to where you think you know how to handle a relationship well, and you're not likely to go to the same college, and long distance rarely works. The probability of it working out is extremely low.

....Am I a pessimist? Cuz I feel like I'm negative in worldview. Then again, I hate the human race in general and most of my own gender, myself included, so I probably am.

Edit: Oh, they try to avoid putting suicides on the news do that kids don't get ideas. Pretty much, the parents or someone who knew the person who killed themselves has to push for it to happen. And I mean really push. Suicides would be on the news at least once a week if they were reported, and I'm just talking about teen suicides.

Hi! Personally, I like the summation of the the purpose of life in Ecclesiastes which is basically enjoy life and follow God. Yeah, you'll die eventually and you may or maynot create some great enduring legacy and maybe the world will end someday but so what? Do what you can to enjoy the time you have, make the world a little bit better (be a nice person, do your job well, etc.), and all that. Life is only pointless if you think it is and sit around doing nothing because of it.

'Ello everyone. I went gambling on Saturday for the first time!
...Well, no, not really. Our school had a Casino Night. A friend was interested, but didn't want to go by herself, so I volunteered to go along, despite not being that interested. So we basically checked in and played some games with the $200 worth of chips that we started off with. We both played Blackjack, but after a while, my friend decided to learn how to play Craps while I just stood around, enjoying the music. In the end, I gave her my chips so she could redeem them for as many ticket vouchers for the prize drawings. She was lucky enough to get a $10 gift card for some restaurant neither of us has ever heard about, but is apparently really popular.
So yeah. Kind of fun, I guess.

Oh, and on Friday, another friend finally got her bow from the archery club. It seems really nice, even though she doesn't have the string for it yet. It makes me want to get a bow of my own, even though I really shouldn't buy one just yet.

Off I go to do my work, which is significantly less exciting.

Bring it. Though, I must warn you, on facebook Tetris Battle I AM rank 30. Unless you're one of those gods like my friend and are level 40-something, in which case that won't impress you... actually, it's a facebook game, it SHOULD impress no one.

ANYWHO I dreamed I saved the world last night. I get those... not SUPER often, but often enough. And the drill is usually something among the lines of "AGAIN?! Ugh, I already did this!" In this case, it was apparently something that happened anually that I had to do every year, so I procrastinated (go me!) and then people started turning into zombies and I was like "CRUD RUNNING OUT OF TIME" and then I saved the world but no one remembered anything going wrong so I was left with the dramatic burden of being the only one who remembers and questioning my sanity. WHY DID I HAVE TO WAKE UPPPP IT'S SO FUN BEING THE HERO T_T

On another random note, I'm trying to decide whether or not to start wearing makeup. I mean, I'm freaking 17 and I have ZERO clue how to apply makeup. That's a problem. I need to get over my stubborness one off these days... bah. Except anything girly ever just makes me look like a stupidhead... I mean, I look like a stupidhead most of the time anyways, so it's not a huge difference or anything.

UGH BUSY WEEK WHY AM I EVEN POSTING HERE oh yeah I'm insane and I <3 you guys

Heso! You don't need makeup to succeed in life, I promise. I'm 20 and I don't know how to use it!

...What?

There are some girls that just can't pull off being girly (it's mostly lesbians and transgenders, but hey, that's not important). Girls who just don't look right in dresses and stuff, you know. They exist. And if wearing makeup and stuff makes you feel awkward, there's no reason to bother with it, right? Even if you're worried situations like job interviews... anything that makes you feel uncomfortable is only going to decrease your performance, which is what really counts. And it is possible for women-types to look professional without piling on the face-goop and frills (see Ellen).

Man, I wish I had dreams about saving the world and being cool and stuff. My dreams are always complete nonsense... Like, one time I had a dream that there was a volcano under my town that erupted, and since my house was destroyed I went with my siblings to stay with our father who in the dream was the band teacher at school (who I barely know; I wasn't in band) but he said he didn't love us so we had to leave. Then in another dream I was swimming in some river with Lady Gaga when we were attacked by a shark, and I fell behind so she came back to save me but I fed her to the shark so I could escape. Then there was this one where there was a spider on the wall, and Colly said she was afraid of it, so I caught it in a bowl and brought it onto the roof where it turned into a horse. Also one of my friends was up on my roof dumping green tea down the chimney, and when I told my mom I put a horse on the roof she told me to bring it back down (but she didn't care that I spawned a horse out of nowhere...). Those are the kinds of dreams I have.

I've only played once before now, but I rank up fast. I will destroy you, Saber Knight! And yes, being the hero is awesome. I'm 16, and I have yet to even TRY to get my permit. I procrastinate everything to no end.

Hi! Silver didn't mention this part but there are plenty of girls who look very nice without makeup as well. And hey, it's expensive and all those chemicals aren't really good for you anyway.

Most of my dreams are fairly random nonsense (getting snowed in with a Chrono Trigger appreciation club, having a fireman disguise himself as a fireman for some reason, etc.) but there are occasional cool ones (having a keyblade and teaming up with Mickey, working through a puzzle filled house, conquering Dracula's castle Castlevania style, etc.). It's really too bad that you can't control your dreams. You'd think that, in theory, it should be possible somehow...

Well, I did mention that there are girls who look nice without it in a way, just not in such a broad way as you did.

And it is possible to control your dreams in some way. Lucid dreaming. It's tough to actually do it, though...

Silver wrote: And it is possible to control your dreams in some way. Lucid dreaming. It's tough to actually do it, though...
I used to be able to lucid dream, then my brain outsmarted itself. Now, whenever I realize it's a dream, I "wake up" where "wake up" means my dream wakes up, but I'm still dreaming in actuality, but I think I've woken up, so I stop trying to control the dream. Stupid subconscious.

My dreams usually don't make too much sense... I mean, there was a clock ticking in front of my face when I saved the world. Last night's dream involved time travel and pretending to smoke pot to placebo effect some people into getting high. Don't ask.

First off, Silver I may have to slit your throat for telling me that the world trade center was attacked on my birthday. Nah I'm just screwing with you. But my birthday was actually pretty nice. If you take away the soul-crushing shame, depression, guilt, and the fact that the one person who could calm you down is busy raving her ass off at an anime convention. (I have yet to go to one, though I am holding out hope for this years otacon in baltimore) What really irks me is when People give you those cheesy cards that say your great and all other sorts of cheddar, and knowing that if people knew the truth about you they would hate, rebuke, disown you. Yay.
On another note, I don't really have dreams of any sort. Also, lucid dreaming has downfalls, like the fact that dreaming and reality are no longer able to be distinguished between each other. A guy actually killed someone because he thought he was dreaming. I think the story was on gma once, you could most likely still find it on their website.
