Yay! only a week more of school!...then another five days of testing...great, I really was getting exited there for a minute. Oh well. Then when I get back from summer break, I'll be in High school!

I guess nobody missed me? Well, my charger broke >>' Luckily, my father was still in america and I had time to order a new one, so he finally got in yesterday at 3am (at our house) I decided to stay up and wait for him (whiles I played RS :P) So, now he's here, I have my charger and I can post now :P.
I just saw the best movie ever! (right next to Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy)

My father bought it and I stayed up last night until 2am watching it :D I love that movie!!! It's sooooo awesome! I wish it was real! Anyone see it? Probably, I never got to see it in theaters because my parents wouldn't let me go >>.
I noticed that for most of the animals though, all they did was take normal animals and change the colors and add another set of legs to the front :/ But other than that, AWESOME MOVIE! Those sick people killing the trees :( I was about to punch the tv screen... then I thought how much it would hurt, so I just punched the couch... I loved the ending though, but I wont spoil for the people who haven't seen it :P.
Now to go up-date the rps...

My book proposal got accepted! Haven't got the contract yet (I should sometime over the next week or so), but yeah, it's official. I think I'd be a lot more excited if it was one of my novels, instead of a book / textbook on writing interactive stories for video games, but it's still pretty cool and should really help get my name out there in the industry. So, while I'm still on "vacation" for the rest of this week, I'll be getting down to some serious writing starting Monday.

'Ello. Just one more week, and I'm free from school. I'm feeling pretty chill right now; only two finals left for me, and I finally decided to order a DS and a couple of the games. The deal was pretty awesome. One DS Lite, two DS games, and one accessory kit all for $163, including tax. I decided to get Pokemon Platinum and Soulsilver. I'm so behind all of the other Pokemon fans... I just got the DS Lite and accessory kit today, and I should be getting the games soon. Hooray for summer vacation~

I'm so glad! I got all of the homework for the rest of Middle school done! Now I just have to wait for finals to get over with, then Summer break! (I'm hoping that I got all passing grades [aka: no D's or F's] this quarter. I was sick for a while so I was quite a bit behind)

Hi! I safely made the drive back from Phoenix to my home in Colorado. So, I believe I mentioned how I found some rare video games I've been wanting at Bookman's, right? Well, last night I met up with some friends to hang out. But I had some time to kill first, so I decided to go walk around the mall near where my old apartment was since I was in the area. Turns out that the fye there was having this huge clearance sale and trying to get rid of all their previous gen video games so I ended up leaving with a rather large stack of PS2 and Gamecube games, most of which only cost two or three dollars each. Then, during my drive back today, I passed a Game Crazy that was having a going out of business sale... Long story short, over the course of my six day trip, I ended up buying 20 video games for a grand total of somewhere around $200. Yeah I had the money and they were all either really good deals, or games that are just plain hard to find, but wow... I don't think I've ever bought that many games in a month (or two months, for that matter), much less a week... And, of course, my copy of Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker that I pre-ordered a while back was waiting for me when I got home... I'm rather glad that there's no more new games I really care about being released until September. After I finish Mario Galaxy 2 and Peace Walker, I really need to make some progress on my backlog...

It's truly amazing how you can write a text book, look for a job, write a masters thesis, ect. and still have time to play all those games

Hi! Play the games? Well, sometimes I do... I didn't really have time to do much playing during the last couple semesters in my master's program. As for looking for a job and the book though, the deadline on those is a lot looser so I can generally afford to quit for the day come four or five o'clock and still have time to spend two or three hours on games. It also helps that as a game designer, I kinda need to play lots of different games so that gives me a good excuse. As for playing "all" those games though, since I started college (which is around when I started earning enough from my various little side jobs and projects to have more than $50 a month in spending money) the size of my game collection has been increasing far faster than I can actually play those games (just check out the video game list thread and see how many I have marked as "haven't played"). Combination of more spending money, some great sales and stuff, and, at times, being too busy to play much. I hope to catch up someday, but at the moment it's not looking all that likely...

I've been playing RS alot lol...
Wow Josiah, I wish I could have as many game as you get, I rarely get a new game and all the games I wanna get go by the wayside until I forget about them. If I had the money, and wasn't restricted, I would have a room, 10by10 full of games and consoles >> but that probably wont happen for a very long while...
Anyways, something amazing happened yesterday: For the first time in months, I had bread, and it was good bread, it tasted almost exactly like white but not XD So I mixed up some peanut butter and grape jelly and made a paste to spread on the bread... I ate almost the whole loaf, I'm making more now, hopefully it'll be as good :D

Hi! Actually, I kinda miss the days when I could only afford to get a new game once every month or two. I was so exciting to have a new game then... Plus, I actually had plenty of time to fully master each game before moving onto the next one. Though, being able to buy the vast majority of the games I want (even it can take quite a while before I get around to playing some of them), has its advantages too.

Omg, I love Avatar! I've seen it 3 times now and it's just addicting XD I sooo wish it was real, and, in a way, it kinda reminded me of Portal Panic :P
Oh, Josiah, be sure to mention when your book-ish thingy comes out, I think I'll buy it, I could use some tips on things like that if I'm planning on becoming a game designer one day, so hopefully I'll be able to get it, and maybe one day, I can get you to sign it for me, hopefully.
