Sorry Saber, I really... have no advice for you there... I'm not really good at that kind of stuff because I don't really have friends that deal with that kind of stuff in that first place.
Oh, and Josiah, if, by chance, I get 1st or 2nd place in the WoR I want to be a Glaceon, BUT!!! Don't make it like that one comic with Terra as a Espeon and I waste an entire comic in 'Pokemon talk' I want to be an english speaking Glaceon, that is, if I win a comic. Just wanted to clear that up.

Hi! Hope everyone had fun during The Week of Randomness. I know it probably would have been better to have it this week (or maybe even next week) instead, but this is my last week in AZ so I've gotta finish my finals, pack, and take care of a few other things, and after that I'll be off on vacation and I've got no idea how good my internet access will be or how much time I'll have to get on. Speaking of which, if anyone feels like making some PV guest comics, I might be posting some during said vacation...

NG, I haven't finished judging posts yet so I'm not sure who will win, but I'll keep the Glaceon thing in mind in case you do. That said, while I do allow people to choose their sprites in bonus comics when they win something, I'm the one who decides exactly what happens in said comics. Though I usually don't repeat the exact same joke...

Hey.

Ugh... I'm not sure how much longer I can take Mr. Angst. I was over his house, working on a project, and I just kinda absent mindedly opened gmail and facebook. I left my status as invisible on gmail, but I forgot to go offline on facebook, and, well at the EXACT moment he looked over my shoulder, my girl friend started talking to me. I quickly tried to close it, but it was too late. He saw it, and quickly looked away, muttering "I didn't need to see that." I quickly typed to her that I couldn't talk because I was at his house, and she realized and went offline, then I did. I kept glancing over to him, to see if he was okay, and then we went upstairs to get something from his room. Well, about then, he repeated "I didn't need to see that", but he sounded like he was going to cry and he hugged me. I tried my best to be reassuring, with the good ol' "It'll get better" and "Things'll work out". It was quite a long hug, but he seemed to have regained his composure a bit, so we stood and talked for a bit, then he seemed to lose it again and gave me another really long hug.

But... he's just... being so... I don't even know! He goes to me and my other friend (who are desperatly trying to keep him sane... he talks to me like crazy online and texts her all the time) and keeps doing the "omg ur so important i dont kno wut id do without u" to BOTH of us. He sent one text to her that she showed me, where he was like "You're amazing and incredible ((*insert more compliments here*)). You must be god-sent." The other night, he was talking to me and he was like "You're such an incredible person... without you, I'd die. You mean so much to me, I don't know what I'd do without you. There's no other way to say it--I love you. Never go away. More than anyone else. I need you in my life." AGH! What do you SAY to that? To both of those? He does this to BOTH of us... he used to do it to the aformentioned friend who's mom said she couldn't talk to him anymore, too. "More than anyone else"... you say the same things to her, too! I want to shout that at him, but I don't want to do anything that might upset him more. Aaaaagh.... This boy... is a real piece of work

My day has been considerably brightened up:

I learned that you can change the sound effects on your computer (download complete, when you click, getting an email on outlook, etc.) to whatever you want. I found some Legend of Zelda sound effects saved as .wav, the file type necessary. I have replaced all of the sound effects with Legend of Zelda stuff. Using my computer is now significantly more exciting.

SO much awesomer to hear the "da na na naaaaaaaaa!" sound when getting an email! SO MUCH AWESOMER!

You can change computer sound options (in Vista, at least), by going to the "personalize" thing and then clicking on "sounds". So much more exciting! I complete a download and hear the... OMG I JUST GOT AN EMAIL AND HEAR THE NOISE AND IT WAS SUPER EXCITING! Sorry, sorry... Heh... I forgot that I have Link gasping as one of my effects... that was amusing... I almost set it so that Zelda laughing would be played when I closed a window, and that Ganondorf laughing would happen when I minimized (and Kome or Kotake when I maximized!) windows. Oh, and I hear the "secret" noise when a download completes. It's much more exciting :D

Heso! Reading over Saber's posts about high school drama, something seems really familiar...

And something tells me I should be glad Colly doesn't follow this thread.

I've been there, Saber... God, have I ever been there. now, my headache wasn't quite as indecisive as yours, but... So I explained this at some point, right? Colly and I started hanging out more, getting closer and all at the beginning of last year, it was all cool, I started to feel all warm and fuzzy inside whenever she was around but I never would have said anything about it in a million years, and then... the person she had been dating a while before, that she had liked but that never really liked her back, decided to ask her out! And she said yes, even though she had gotten over this person, just to be nice. Apparently at that time she liked me, but didn't say anything because I'm... me, and then... just because they were dating, she started to like that other person again. But then things started going wrong, and who did she come to? Me. And as soon as she starts crying - which she did at the drop of a hat, might I add - I'm a total pushover. And for some reason, during all that, she decided to tell me that she liked me! ...While dating someone else. Who she apparently also liked, but not as much as me or something and... geh. It was a mess.

But... it all worked out, anyway. Colly and the other person broke up, Colly's ex went back to their ex and lived happily ever after, and I got the girl! Just saying "It'll work out" isn't going to help you much, though, is it? So here's my two cents... Don't get too caught up in what he's saying about "needing you" and all that crap. Take it with a grain of salt, and understand that he's confused, going through a lot emotionally (probably hormonally as well), scared of losing friends, and has absolutely no idea what he's saying. The best thing to do is just be a shoulder. Just get rid of the rest of your body and-- no, kidding. What I mean is... whether he needs it to lean on or cry on, just give him the shoulder. Make sure you keep your heart out of his reach though, ok? That's when things really get messy... all you can do is be a supportive friend, try to keep him smiling, and if you can, try to do the same for the other friend as well. Trying to be understanding of both parties is crucial. There's really nothing you can do to solve the problems between them, but if you can at least be on good terms with both of them and keep them in good enough spirits that they don't totally break down, time will take its course.

God... I can't believe you're in the exact same spot as I was, though... it can be tough, but if you just keep your head, you've probably got it easier than the other two do. It's easy to get caught up in the drama - as long as you don't, you have nothing to worry about.

well... wow, Silver, that was epic very visual too, kinda even helpful to me >> I have... some what of the same problem with other people, I like more than one person, but most of them like other people who turn out to like me and I don't really like them all that much, then it gets weird then I leave chatango for months and months on end... Erm... Just ignore that last part there >> anyways, I was at a birthday party tonight, like I said earlier... and the birthday 'boy' turned 84 :P for 'cake' we have BBQ chicken with lettuce and tomato haha and to drink we had coffeex10 (for those of you who haven't been to Honduras, the people here drink coffee that is 10 time stronger than you would usually drink it) Haha, so yea, I'm a be awake for the rest of the week!

Hmm yeah, I've been in that boat. Actually, I've been in it twice but the first time was really fast so I barely noticed it happening. My first girlfriend asked me out as a rebound (which I didn't know at the time) and apparently she had started talking with her original boyfriend after a while because about 2 months in she suddenly dumped me for him without really giving a reason.

The second was actually just last spring, my 2nd last ex and I were getting really close again and chatting and all that. The thing to remember about this girl was that we've only ever done an LDR, she lives way down in the States. So we start getting really close again and she keeps dropping these hints that she wants to date me again (and later admitted that yes, she was hinting that too). But a few weeks after we start talking again, a guy she had a crush on for a while asked her out. That was a really strange situation, she liked both of us, we both liked her, and it just made it really stressful for everyone.

Anyways, psychology exam on Tuesday, that should be easy.

Thanks for the advice, Silver... this is just one huge mess. Yeah... when he's all "i need u", I definitely take that with a grain of salt, or whatever the saying might be. Still... when he says he's about to cry, or that he even IS crying, or when he looks like he's about to cry... I'm a total pushover, y'know. Can't help it... start babbling. I've been trying to stay in the middle, but he accused me of spending more time with her (WHEN HE BLEW ME OFF FOR A FREAKIN' MONTH TO HANG OUT WITH HER! Yeah, ONE DAY is not going to kill you... and I talked to you PLENTY more than you ever did this past month). Trying my best to be supportive... however, though, it looks like the ordeal might be over.

It looks like things are going to be alright, though. My friend's mom said that she approves of him now, but he still walks a thin line and can't mess up. He, however, is absolutely ecstatic. Overdramatic boy... he's like "OMG I'VE BEEN HAPPIER THAN I'VE BEEN IN YEARS".... SRLSY?!?!? AGH! You've said that on SO MANY OCCASSIONS.

Well, time to see how today goes, and if he just goes back to ignoring me after his talk of "omg i need u so much im so srry i took u for granted that was stoopid of me". We'll just have to see.

Yes, give them your shoulder, never your heart. A shoulder can be replaced, good as new, a heart cannot. Also, yay for pushovers.
I tend to be the problem child myself, but I try not to get involved in anyone in fear of messing up again. I was always a shoulder to cry on until I lost my heart.

On a more happy note. Why did you have to post TVTropes? Why? I'm supposed to be doing chemistry homework. Because our teacher thought it would be a funny thing to do on finals week. At least all the rest of my finals are tomorrow and Wednesday. Then I have to figure out how I'm getting home.

And NG, that sounds like the coffee for me. Sounds like I need to take a trip to Honduras sometime.
