Year of the Dragon

It is year 2012, Chinese year of the Dragon, where all Dragons disguised as humans may freely transform into their dragon form when pleased.
Centuries ago in China, Dragons co-existed with humans, but they were banished from earth by a group called Jinkos. Jinkos saw Dragons aswell as any mystical creatures as threats (They're still cracking down on the platypus and Okapis), so they used their alchemy to banish them. Fortunately, another group that was protecting the Dragons called Hirokos countered the spell, so that they Dragons could take form as humans, only freely to take their dragon form during the Chinese Dragon Year.
But the Jinkos found out about what the Hirokos did, so they also are taking them out because they support an unworthy cause in their eyes.
So now the Hirokos are as rare as Dragons, and it's 2012, year the Dragons take flight again. Will they prosper in life or will they crash and burn?
So point of this role play is if you're a dragon or a Hiroko, you gotta survive within the year before a Jinko kills you.

Ok, My characters.......

Name: Parvais
Age: Looks 24, actually 609
Type: Blue Dragon
Human Appearance: Scruffy beard and scruffy clothes. Is mistaken for with a bum or a college student on Laundry day.
Backstory: Parvais originated from France after a migration of Blue dragons fled from China, hoping to escape the Jinkos. Unfortunately, they were found and at age of 10, Parvais' family was killed in front of him. He only escaped because cops showed up and the Jinkos didn't have enough time to finish him off. Now he suffers some mental problems from his childhood drama.

Age: 25
Appearance: Blond hair with lightning blue tips. She wears a black cloak and always wears black.
Weapon: Revolver
Pet: A White Siberian tiger named Griff that can sniff out Dragons
Back Story: Her whole family has been Jinkos, and she wants to follow her families footsteps by killing as many Dragons as possible. She killed her first one when she was 7, and loved it since. Her count so far is 12.

Name: Drache (Pronounced Drah-kah) Meredith

Age: Black Dragon (but his scales shine colours in the sun like the oil on a bird’s feather)

Human Appearance: Tall, slim and fashionable. His black hair is messy, neck-length and slightly curly. His blue eyes are almost always smiling and he’s always wearing comfortable shoes; ready to run from any random Jinko that catches his scent.

Back story: Drache was dropped as an egg on a cargo ship in the early 1800s and hatched in the forests of South America. He lived the first few years of his life hunting the local livestock and earned the name ‘chupacabra’. His actions drew the attention of both organisations, however who tried to find his hideout. Upon discovering the young dragon, a Jinko attempted to hunt him down. Drache ran, of course, and found himself in an abandoned temple where a Hiroko was waiting for him.
The Hiroko taught him all there was to know about his past and helped Drache flee. He chose the name Drache Meredith as part of his travels around the world.
Basically he’s been running from the Jinkos for a couple of hundred years and finds it fun to explore new places. He’s taken technology in his stride, but still has great respect for the ancient magics.

Name: Drake Nethergrad
Age: Looks 18, Real Age: 1,303
Type: Gold Dragon
Human Appearance: Small, 5'5" tall. Weight: 102. Wears contacts (After his eyes started to get bad). Wears a lot of white clothes, shirt and pants, wears red shoes. Talks a lot of the history if they are dragon or Hirokos.
Back History: Drake was born in a cave in the Eastern tip of China. He never talked because he was always shy. Yet with the death of his parents a few hundred years later, he went on his own to learn a lot from other cultures. Time passed and Drake was never alone. He always had Hirokos watching over him and as his age started to increase he started to get closer to death. He fears a lot of people because he looks at their actions and not what they are thinking. But he has not went full dragon for over 800 years. Also known as the "White Unknown", "Leviathan", "Sea Dragon of Northern Sky", "Drake, Dragon of Ages". He hopes to change the past and bring the dragons back to this world once again. Willing to search for others of his kind and finding the Hirokos too.

It was midnight when the chase was on. A man, who's appearance could of been better, was running down a grassy path, running, running away.
"Get back here you!" A girls voice boomed as she was catching up to the scruffy man. In front of her, a white Siberian tiger pounced above, nipping at his feet.
"Nwah! bad kitty!" The man yelped as he tried to kick the beast away, but the tiger had him cornered. It was either him, or the cliff.
"You got nowhere to run boy." The girl picked up her revolver. "So let's just get this done." She aimed.
"Go suck a lemon!" He snapped, running to the cliff and jumping.
She shook her head. "Poor fool...."
Suddenly, a massive blue dragon took flight and soared away.

The girl stood there in awe.

"It can't be...." She checked her watch. It was after midnight. "Happy Chinese New Years...." she mumbled as she and her tiger walked away.


Eventually.....

The dragon finally landed on ground, transforming back into a human, passing out. Around him were trees and small cottages. Miles away is a huge city known only as Toronto. (LOL sue me)

(So basically introduce your character meeting up with Parvais)

Drake woke up with a chill. He stood up where he was and looked at the old clock he had on the desk. Taking a second look, he saw that it was just 1 after 12:00 a.m. No wander. It was the Chinese year for the dragons to come back. Taking awhile to get out of bed he walked only a few feet and smelled the fresh air. The old candle-stick by the window showed a lot of the sky, plus the city that was in the distance. After moving a lot, Drake found himself in the city of Los Angeles. His sight was getting worse but he was also stronger then ever.

"So its finally the year to live for. I should really see what China is like now since I haven't been there for the last 300 years. Besides going to Japan for 40 years, thats the closest I've been."

After putting on some cloths, Drake went on top of his house that was at least 3 miles away from the center. Taking a short quick breath, he extended his arms and transformed. His gold wings shinned in the moonlight and he was off in the sky in a heart beat.

I should just go and fly around the world. That would be so much fun. He thought as he went this way and that around the city and started to head to the east, and to the mountains of Colorado.
