Simeon had finished off a swath of canned spambots and noticed the raggedy ropebone laying lonely on the grass. He picked it up, but tucked it away in his 'gunnysack of holding' for later inspection before bounding off toward the exit to help Matrix Kirby keep the spambots from escaping into the forums proper.

On his way there, he noticed the gooey lightbulb. He didn't bother tucking said lightbulb into his gunnysack of holding... instead, he tied the strange lightbulb to one of his belt-loops with a random bit of string, then tore into a spambot rearing up to smash his kirbified companion.

Simeon, each time you pick up an item you see a box:

Poodle's Leash
Usable by anyone
Like it's owner, this rope is well trained, and follows it's owners commands perfectly.

The Shroom-Lamp
This should be useful for lighting up dark places!

Matrix Kirby and Simeon, you notice that there are actually quite a few destroyed robots inside the index page.
"Don't ask." said Stevenson. "Suffice to say, I can hold anything you guys need me to in my wings." he stretched out his wings, and several weapons came protruding out of the feathers. "There's plenty of room."

Josiah recovered quickly from the punch and helped the others finish off the last of the spam bots.

"Well, that wasn't so bad."

(Late post is late.)

The entire time the rest of the group was in the intro section, fighting off spam bots, a single figure remained in the nondescript room in which they had all first found themselves. She was standing in one corner, completely occupied by thoroughly examining her outfit and talking to herself under her breath. "This is amazing," she muttered, gazing at the back of her hand. More accurately, she was admiring the glove covering her fingers. "I'd always wanted to cosplay a Ragnarok Online Warlock, but had no idea how to construct it myself, and I didn't want to hire someone else to make it for me, that takes the fun out of the whole process." She turned her hand around, inspecting the stitching on the glove, then swung her arms experimentally. The movement was accompanied by a rather melodic clinking sound as the decorative chains fastened all over her outfit shifted positions.

Not yet done with her self-analysis, Mandi planted her hands on her hips, thinking. "Hm, on second thought, this isn't exactly the same as the Warlock outfit," she mused. "I think I see some elements from my Elin sorcerer's outfit in TERA... This is awesome, I'll have to remember to draw this whenever I wake up." While trying to turn her head to catch a glimpse of the coat trailing behind her, she knocked into something lying next to one of her her feet. She uttered a short cry of delight and picked up an ornate metal bow with four wing-like sections and no visible string. "Isn't this a Masterpiece Bow from Mabinogi?! I don't even have one of these in-game yet! Oh, it's beautiful~" She ran her hands up and down its length, feeling the shallow grooves in each wing-section.

She would likely have remained in this state for quite some time had she not abruptly realized she wasn't alone. "Oh." She blinked a few times at what appeared to be a parrot, a Kirby in a trench coat, and a large winged bipedal black-furred lion. Removing her glasses, she polished the lenses carefully with one sleeve, then replaced them on her nose. This did absolutely nothing to change what she was seeing, so she accepted them as part of her dream (or hallucination or whatever this was). While she wasn't entirely sure why the parrot was there, she was fairly certain the other two were familiar.

"Matrix Kirby? Simeon?" she asked cautiously. "How funny, I haven't seen either of you in a really long time. Why are you in my dream?"

Having finished with the spambots milling around the gate Kaida went through to find more spambot remains around Stevenson, MK and Simon. Now the immediate danger was over she shiethed her daggers and came to join the group as who she thought might be Mandi ddress MK and Simon. “If it’s a dream, it’s very realistic and we’re all having the same one.” She sai smiling at Mandi, slightly bouncing on the balls of her feet, resisting the urge tosupermegahugglomptackle Mandi, she was just in the Introductions after all.

"Oh, well hello...I'm not even going to hazard a guess as to who you are. But, a girl...and not Saber or Kaida...and not Opal, because Opal would have purple hair...and probably not Shauni....so....Mandi? I guess I could hazard a guess after all." Stevenson said. "Yeeeeeah, if it is a dream, and none of us are real, I'll be in for a real shock tomorrow. Also, could somebody block my nostrils? I would at least like to make sure, but I don't have any hands!"

After an uncomfortable pause in which nobody volunteered, Stevenson continued.

"Right, well, did anybody find anything that maybe would help me bring the lights on in this place?"

Simeon's feline expression reflected amused confusion, oddly angled ears and all. He gave Mandi a quiet feline hello of recognition, then took a moment to think about the current "it's really dark in here" situation. Since the area around the introduction area's gate was more or less safe, Simeon tugged the gooey lightbulb item hanging from his beltloops, snapping its securing string and held it aloft at eye level (for a lionthing his size.)

After a moment of inspecting it (and its apparent item flavor text box), Simeon figured activating it required some sort of voice command.

"... Shroom-Lamp ... on?"

The lamp wishes it could give you a quizical expression, but, being a mere lamp, cannot.

"Oh, hey! I think there's a socket around here." Stevenson said in surprise, seeing the lightbulb.

"Yep, right here on top of the control panel." Stevenson indicated the socket, which was on top of the console-like structure, with his beak.

Simeon gives Stevenson a confirming nod, and screws in the gooey light-bulb into the indicated socket... with his eyes squinted to shield against the incoming initial flood of light.

{{Okay guys, brace yourself for tons of exposition!}}

Remarkably, the bulb itself only emits a dull light, but it apparently connected a circuit, as the lights in the entire enormous antechamber lit up. The gates, while lit, remain close.

Also, behind the console, an enormous pillar of blue light springs to life.

"Greetings." it says. "I am Indigo, or what remains of him. I was once in charge of the technical side of these forums, but that has been taken from me. I called your actual essences here through the cyber-ether...as you can see, your imprints have been...corrupted. I can sense you have defeated a projection of Dark Silver, and in so-doing have brought power back to me. It was Silver, or his imprint, that rendered me inoperable in the first place.

As you can see, this place, the Pebble Version Forums, has been corrupted by an unknown and unknowable force. I need you to eradicate this force, so once again this can be a place of harmony...with minor exceptions, of course.

Each of the global moderators is incredibly strong; you must defeat three of their projections in order to fully destroy them. And I fear the corrupted Josiah may be even more difficult...but that is for later. You must explore the forums in order to find the corrupted imprints and vanquish them by whatever means you can."

At this point, all of the gates opened up, except for the ones marked "Whatever" and "Server-Side".

"While they may or may not be recognizable as such, all of your imprints and more are here, and corrupted. If you can vanquish them, you will absorb what is left of your essence, and gain additional powers to those I have given you already."

"So many options decisions are hard," muttered Saber in a vaguely grammatically-incorrect manner. "Ooh, if we swung by Role Plays, maybe we could pick up a super awesome army of our role play characters! Or, then again, maybe they're all corrupted and going to attack us, and I've also created a plethora of angry villains that certainly won't be too happy to see me."

Then again, there's IPA. Evil me is probably there, considering I have those mod powers there.
This last thought, however, was kept to herself. Facing off with evil herself, while wicked cool sounding, wasn't something she was sure she'd be able to do successfully.

((RP Mod here. And I'm also a little concerned about going there. We'll have to save it for last.))

Simeon couldn't help but nod in agreement at Saber's observations.

"Maybe we should look into the Forum Games section?" he suggested with a non-committal shrug, "It might be chaos, but at least it -could- be a bit more manageable than the hardcore stuff we did in the RP sections."

Silver had removed his Stylin' Green Hat and shifted back into a human once the spambots were more or less dealt with. He grabbed the key baby and joined up with the others.

"Nah man, let's go somewhere easy that doesn't have much stuff to it. Like, the Fanfics and Art area. We go to the Games section, we'll be drowning in a see of one-word posts, and have like Evil The N00b trying to keep Phonox and Sira at the exact same HP for years. We'll never get out of there." He then remembered the key baby he had been guarding and brought it to the group. "Oh yeah, anyone have any idea about this thing? I've been sitting on it for a while now and it didn't hatch."
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

MK had put the pistol away and joined up with the rest of the group.

"But if you think about it, anywhere we go can result in anything. Tv, Movies and Anime? Who knows, we could find ourselves in any sort of TV movie or anime situation. Fanfics? We could find ourselves in the middle of a fanfic. In theory, there's nowhere safe to check out. First, I think we need to figure out what everyone's capabilities are before we just go out and about.

So far, from what I've seen, I can pull any sort of weapon out of no where, and I seem to have that bullet-time junk in the matrix movie. Also I'm a kirby. I can fit in tiny places. And fly. Let me check that..."

He took in a deep breath, expanding to twice, almost three times his normal size. he started flapping his arms, and took to the air.
Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?

I am the artist formerly known as Matrix Kirby.

Something instinctive gripped Simeon, and he couldn't help but playfully bat Matrix Kirby out of the air and pounce on him like a cat toy.
