The emotional chaos in here was beautiful. Eskay just ran out of the room shouting, new Saber Knights completely overwhelmed, and the figure on the floor was no longer breathing with the regularity of one sleeping.

Ah, but I mustn't forget my mission, Nyandimar thought, or the fight between good and evil will neither be balanced, nor chaotic. He thought that evil was a step up right now, although he didn't have much faith in the cohesiveness of either side. Calmly, and carefully suppressing the smile of a man enjoying a beautiful piece of art, Nyandimar took to the bathroom. Making sure he wasn't watched, he stepped through a shadow (Note: Arcane ability (Just in case it wasn't clear)) and found his way outside.

He followed the direction the screams were coming from, hoping to find and console a stressed out Eskay. It felt weird to be the one ending a bit of chaos for a change.

((Why does writer’s block attack me whenever I try to post in this one?))

It was quite a bombshell Epifanio had dropped. Even Vegier could tell, and he knew next to nothing about the Saber Knights, let alone the history of the Corrupted Ones. And for poor Eskay to find out who her true father was… Well, it was no surprise that the young elf suddenly fled the scene.

“Eskay-” he started to call out, instinctively reaching one hand out toward her, as if to stop her from running away. But by then, she was already out the door, screaming the name of her patron god. Slowly, the Arc dropped his hand back down to his side, caught between going to comfort Eskay and asking Epifanio and Taygete more questions. In the end, he chose the latter; Sira and Nyandimar had already headed out as well, presumably to comfort the distraught girl. She didn’t need to have everyone crowding around her at this time. Besides, despite the nagging guilt that urged him to console her anyway, the adolescent wasn’t too sure how to go about it; he had never been in such a situation before.

“That was too much for her,” Vegier finally commented after a moment of silence, fighting back an accusatory tone as he glanced over at Epifanio. Though it was extremely tempting to follow up with a reprimand, the Arc restrained himself; Eskay had been the one to ask, so the centaur couldn’t be blamed. Instead, Vegier settled for another question he had been meaning to ask.

“So what do we do now?” He folded his arms across his chest, staring straight at the two most experienced Saber Knights in the room. “We were told that we were meant to protect the dimensions, but now we’ve found out that we have dangerous enemies who are wielding divine powers that are on an opposing side as well.” If he had his wings, Vegier would have flicked one to show his irritation. “With the exception as Azriel and, I’m assuming, Nyanmidar, we are an untrained group, suddenly thrust with such a heavy responsibility with not so much as a reliable guide. Now we’ve lost a member, and another is probably too hysterical to function properly as a Saber Knight for the time being.”
Though the Arc’s words were slightly hostile, a concerned expression in his eyes as he stared desperately at Epifanio and Taygete betrayed his true emotions. Chewing on his lower lip in anxiety, Vegier repeated his question, “So what are we supposed to do now? And...” Here, his gaze flickered over to the seemingly unconscious figure of Seraphina.
"...what do we do about her?"

Haddix wasn't quite sure how to respond to this news, but he did know that Eskay was upset. He followed her as she left, and ended up just sitting near her, looking almost like he was there to protect her, but more like how your dog would protect you because he cares about you. He wasn't sure how to comfort her. He couldn't really say much. He just say and watched warily for anyone who might come, friend or foe, to stop those with any agenda other than comforting Eskay.
