(I wasn't referring to anyone in particular, just whoever decided to arrive first. Hopefully things will pick up.)

"...hey."

In this Trainer, Crimson sensed another like himself - nervous, shy, like him. From his experience, this was one of the worst possible crises averted, as the girl had started the conversation for him; at least she wasn't totally reserved.

Struggling for words, he decided to return the sentiments.

"Crimson, age seventeen, from Pastoria here in Sinnoh. Nice to meet you..."

He noticed several things about this Trainer. She was shorter than him, and yet he could tell she was older. Shirt, cargo pants, and a half-jacket... and, oddly enough, they shared the same love for the color red. And those eyes. Those amber eyes. They drew you in...

A very awkward silence followed, each staring intently at the other. Crimson desperately hoped not to start the conversation. At least Shaymin and the other green Pokémon were getting along. Crimson could feel something being exchanged between the two, but could not tell what. Finally, Shaymin turned to him.

"This is Celebi. She's a Grass-type, like me. And don't worry - we think you two should be able to get along."

Hearing this, Crimson's nervousness eased; having the two Legendary Pokémon as ambassadors made him much more comfortable. Less direct contact. Raine seemed to relax slightly as well; Celebi had probably relayed the same information to her Trainer.

(And just as I am about to click post, here comes someone else. Funny how that works. Don't feel like writing a second novel, though.)

"...er, not much of a conversation to interrupt...

Just as Crimson began to get comfortable, another Trainer arrived. In contrast to the two of them, Rosanna exuded an optimism, an outward politeness that threw him off. The Pokémon did not help, as Shaymin was apprehensive of its apparent politeness (and, as far as he could tell, Celebi was too). No... Shaymin wasn't taken aback like he was; rather, she was frightened - the Pokémon must have been a Fire-type. No wonder.

((Wow that was a lot to read. <<))

Can we go now? Mewtwo glanced impatiently down at the human, watching for a moment as the teenager attended with an apparently rare flower, before looking up towards Spear Pillar. How did the flower even manage to survive in this snow? The question, much to his irritation, actually slipped out without meaning to. Obviously the Genetic Pokemon was far from actually interested, even the tone of the question revealed the annoyance he felt, but still the human decided to answer.

If it had been anyone else, then maybe Yuki would have stayed quiet. "It thrives on harsh, cold climates like this. The real surprise should be that I never thought to search for it here." There was a scuff from the legendary at the response, though the trainer took no notice of it, just as Yuki stood back to his feet and brushed the snow off the front of his jeans. Yellow eyes flashed towards Mewtwo, just as the Pokemon turned, and met grayish-purple eyes briefly before human and Pokemon looked to their destination. "Now we can go."

Mewtwo nodded, impatience evaporating into irritable anticipation. He despised these legendary meetings, not even considering himself a legendary since he was 'created' and not 'born' to power, yet he was expected to make his appearance. Occasionally he did, today being one of those rare occurrences, but more often not. As the silence got comfortable around them, no other creatures revealing themselves due to the legendary's presence, the Genetic Pokemon shook his head. If it hadn't been for the encroaching feeling of there being a disturbance settling on the world, then he would have definitely skipped this meeting. The Cerulean Cave was better than this place; Yuki's shed a possibility.

Sensing Yuki's sudden distraction with something else and unwilling to deal with the delay for a second time, Mewtwo Teleported the pair further up, right at the entrance, just before the human could think of wandering off again. They were at the base of the stairs, Yuki staring blankly at Mewtwo and the Pokemon pointedly ignoring the stare, before eventually the teen shook his head. To Mewtwo's satisfaction, the legendary had won that silent argument. Not that it mattered any.

Both sighing forlornly, for neither was fond of any sort of gathering, Yuki motioned for Mewtwo to finish the trip. A moment later they appeared in the vicinity of others that had arrived, though off to the side close enough to the wall that both could lean against it. Of course the pair did actually lean against the wall, moving as one, and crossed their arms in a similar fashion. Both glanced disinterestedly at the gathered few before closing their eyes and concentrating on their own thoughts. Or, rather, their shared thoughts.

((Well I didn't have much to say about this. -nods-))

Thanks to Suicune's speed, the pair arrived at the cave entrance in only a few hours. Kai slipped off the legendary's back, and together they entered the cave and found the shrine. Kai wasn't surprised to see that she wasn't the first to arrive, but wasn't last at least.

"This place feels so old. I don't think I've ever been anywhere like this," Kai said. She wandered away from Suicune's side to look around. She hadn't approached the other humans yet, though she knew she should have done so by now. So far, her arrival hadn't been noticed. Kai turned away from the sight of the shrine and turned her attention to the other trainers and the legendaries with them. She approached slowly, Suicune beside her.

"Uh, hi. I'm Kai. Kai Arashiki, from Johto," she said with a friendly smile. The others turned to look at her, but she refused to allow herself to be intimidated by some of the less friendly looks she was getting from some of them. Suicune stood beside her all the while, silently taking in the others. Her thoughts whirred with activity as they continued to study her.

"Kai, calm yourself," Suicune said to her. Kai took a deep breath to steady her nerves before she was finally able to relax.

"So, are we waiting on anyone else?" Kai asked.

(I apologize in advance if the initial portion of my post disturbs anyone. 8D' )

Over the course of three weeks, Lugia made its way back to the half of the world it was more familiar with. Arian spent that time either riding on its back or scavenging for food on various islands they stopped at along the way. "How come you're flying now? Wouldn't it have saved you time if you'd flown on the way here, too?" he asked the legendary one evening on one such island, two weeks into the journey. Like most of the others that served as resting spots, it was uninhabited, but rich with plants. He had found a stand of large Leppa berries and, despite not being too fond of their taste, was wolfing them down. He had also set some out to dry for later consumption, something he had learned to do after a few days when he ran out of food while still in the air and had to wait hours before he could next eat.

Lugia, who he now understood to be female, twisted her head around to look at him. She was sitting at the edge of the island, leaning out over the sharp drop to the ocean around them. I should still be swimming, actually she told him. If I am not very careful, I may unintentionally trigger more storms like the one you experienced when I first met you. As a result, I made the trip here completely underwater. However, you lack the ability to survive underwater, and so an aerial route is necessary now. She turned away again and resumed staring into the water.

"I see…"

Don't fret, I take care to quell them if any happen to arise. Shifting her weight, she leaned imperceptibly forward. Just as Arian wondered what she was doing, she suddenly plunged her head into the water. A moment later she withdrew, her beak clamping a wriggling orange fish with white whiskers. As he watched, mouth agape, she tossed the fish over her back. It slammed into the sand in front of him, flopped a few times, then went still. Arian blinked. You've been wanting something other than berries for a very long time now. I trust you know how to cook?

Arian closed his mouth and swallowed, looking down at the fish in front of him. "This is a Pokemon, isn't it?"

And?

"You caught it so easily, like you've done it so many times… I didn't think you ate meat!"

What did you think these teeth were for? Lugia laughed. For the first time, Arian noticed a pair of sharp fang-like teeth in the lower half of her beak. For some reason, it sent a shiver down his spine, but he collected the unfortunate Magikarp and started preparing it for dinner.

~

Another week brought the pair to the region of Sinnoh. Before heading to the Spear Pillar, Lugia deposited Arian just outside Sunyshore City, near the ocean. As excited as he was to see the new sights, and as impressed as he was by the solar panel walkways, he wasn't too awed. The city was tiny compared to Castelia. Find a shop and secure some warmer clothes for yourself. Spear Pillar is high in the mountains of Mt. Coronet. Your current attire would cause you to freeze to death, and that would be a problem.

"I'm sure it would be," Arian agreed, looking down at himself. Buttoning his shirt, he walked into the main part of the city, feeling rather than seeing Lugia withdraw from the shore and vanish into the harbor. He knew that she would stay in the medium-depth waters until his return. After wandering around the city and investigating every location that sold items, the boy eventually purchased a thick orange-brown coat, lined with a fringe of white fur around the hood, a pair of black mittens, and long insulated black pants. He borrowed the shop's bathroom and changed into his new clothes, then decided when he instantly began sweating that doing so was a bad idea.

Stripping off his coat and gloves hurriedly, he headed back to the harbor with them over one arm, his original pants folded and stashed in his bag. Meeting up with Lugia was quick, and she swam some distance away from the city before lifting off and heading toward the mountan range just barely visible.

Within just minutes, Arian was back into his coat and gloves and leaning as far as he dared over Lugia's neck to protect his face from the hail. "I'm glad you thought of this!" he yelled gratefully. The wind snatched the words from his throat and spun them away into the clouds, but Lugia understood him anyway.

You're welcome. We're nearly there. Even as she spoke, Arian detected that they were beginning to descend. With startling suddenness, the hail stopped falling. Arian sat up and looked around. They were approaching a massive temple-like structure built at the peak of the mountain range, adorned with once-great pillars and murals that, even from his distance, he could tell were in advanced stages of ruin. Lugia settled into a large loop, bringing them steadily closer. Arian quickly spotted the miniature forms of other humans already at Spear Pillar.

"Hey, that's Victini!" he exclaimed, pointing as the tiny Psychic/Fire type came into view.

Ah, yes. You would be more familiar with the legends and myths of Unova than with those of any other region. Lugia made another turn. Now they were at the level of the tallest pillars. The green fairy-like one is Celebi, the guardian of time from Johto. Beside her is Shaymin of Sinnoh. That one which just arrived is Suicune, also from Johto. And there... Her mental voice broke off into a chuckle, sounding pleasantly surprised. I see he has chosen to grace us with his rare presence. That is Mewtwo of Kanto, the only legendary to have been created by humans.

"What?"

Don't mention it to him. He dislikes speaking of it. Lugia flapped her wings once, very gently, and finally alighted on the wide stone-paved pathway which stretched the entire length of Spear Pillar, ending at an impressive plaza of sorts at the far end. Arian carefully slid down from Lugia's neck. As she straightened up and folded her wings, he looked around. Now that the other people and legendaries were standing on the same floor as he was, he became once again aware of just how huge Lugia was. Size means very little, she chided him. Although yes, I am quite conspicuous. I believe at present I'm the third-largest legendary in existence.

"Wow..."

Now if you'll excuse me, I have friends to greet. Try to introduce yourself to your peers. With surprising grace despite being on the ground, Lugia wandered over to where the chosen partners of the three smallest legendaries were congregated. Well met, Celebi, Shaymin, Victini. It is good to see you again. To the girl standing next to Suicune, she added I believe quite a few of our number have yet to arrive.

Arian watched her for a while, noticing how only Victini's partner seemed friendly out of those three. Scanning the area, his eyes fell on the quiet brown-haired boy leaning against a section of fallen wall, arms folded and eyes closed. Next to him was a peculiar bipedal creature with a purple tail in an identical pose. He cautiously approached them. "Er, hello." He offered a hand hopefully. "My name's Arian Clover. I came from the Unova region, and I'm seventeen. Who are you?"

(It mutated again. SK, is your type-giant-post condition contagious? ._.' )
(As for the Magikarp...Pokemon have to eat when they're not being fed by their trainers, and I don't think some of them are vegetarian. Lugia in particular looks part dragon, even if it's not, so I don't think it's too far a stretch to say it could be carnivorous. Plus, it does have those teeth. o3o )

Rosanna watched as Lugia landed, even though she knew that that would be here she was still slightly in shock at having the change to meet so many of the lengendary's. Having traveled around the world since she was young she'd heard many stories about the lengendary's, although she was less familiar with the Unova region ones, save for Victini, seeing as she'd only been there a couple times. And so far, none of stories matched up to the lengendary's.

Greetings Lugia, It's good to see you again too. Victini said to her, as Rosanna began rummaging in her bag. She had left most of her belongings at the hotel room in Snowpoint City that she'd rented, although she had brought a few things. She pulled out two boxes and placed the on a roughly flat ruined column that they were close too, she pulled out a small cloth and spread it over the column and pulled out of the boxes a variety of pastries and chocolates, including a large amount of macaroons. She also place some napkins there.
"I wasn't sure how long we'd have to wait for everyone to gather, or how long the meeting would take so I thought I'd bring something for us to snack on." She said to everyone who had gathered so far. "Please, help yourselves." She grabbed one of the Macaroons and gave it to Victini, who reserved himself by eating neatly and slowly.

Too many people. Not ten minutes ago had he been all alone, and now the Spear Pillar was filling up. Frustrating, but he was used to things like this happening. Shaymin's mind was running to him, describing the various Legendaries, "and this is Victini, from Unova, and that's Lugia up there, coming in now, she's from Johto. Nice to see you again, Lugia!..."

But Crimson's mind - and eyes - had wandered to another pair that seemed to be just as reclusive as him. He had heard about the breakthrough that was Mewtwo, of course, but he did not recognize the Trainer standing next to it. Both were leaning against a wall, arms crossed in the exact same way. Noticing him staring, the Pokémon shot him such a glare that he backed off instantly. He took a macaroon (brought by the cocky yellow-eyed male who had ridden Lugia) and sat down a short distance away from the group. It was an art, finding the proper distance so as to stay separate yet not become singled out.

It's not flimsy. Yuki huffed for the umpteenth time within his mind. As always, he and Mewtwo were having an argument just to pass the time. Their arguments varied from what was the better flavor or flavor combination to, apparently, living conditions. It's survived for years as a regular tool-shed under Oak's forgetful care and has yet to fall. He then paused, thinking about the shed he claimed to be his house, and tilted his head slightly. Had that thing ever actually fallen and he just never realized it? Actually, I want to test this.

Mewtwo, flicking his tail absently as he rolled his neck, leaned his head back so that he was facing up at the sky with eyes still closed. Neither human nor Pokemon had opened their eyes since arriving and, for the most part, neither planned to open them until it was finally time to leave. I'll whip up a storm when we return then. The comment was a casual one, almost as if he wasn't serious, but both knew that it was just as much of a promise as it was a joke. Their jokes just happened to be the sort labeled as "inside jokes" is all.

In response to Mewtwo's words, Yuki nodded imperceptibly as he commented, through their telepathic link, that he wised this meeting would start already so it could finally end. Suddenly both minds quieted as Mewtwo sensed something approaching them. Through the Genetic Pokemon's psychic senses, the trainer was able to gather that it was, in fact, a human making his way over. Humans. As much as the teen agreed with his legendary partner, Yuki bid the Psychic-type to shush before opening his apathetic yellow eyes to properly see who it was that dared approach them.

The seventeen year old that stood before him actually made Yuki pause for a moment. Arian, at least Yuki thought that was the name spoken, was taller by three inches, had black hair, and was wearing drastically different colors from Yuki. It was the other's eyes, however, that kept the scientist's attention. This teen was probably the second person Yuki had met throughout all his years of traveling that also had yellow eyes. Eventually Yuki peered down at the offered hand, staring at it blankly, before looking back up at Arian and continuing to silently stare.

Not going to shake it? Mewtwo inquired disinterestedly as he cocked his head to the side and, grayish-purple eyes now open, watched the two humans. There wasn't a trace of amusement in the Pokemon's demeanor, rather he seemed more irritated that his human was actually showing interest in the other human. It's a human, Yuki, just ignore it. Honestly, sometimes the Genetic Pokemon wondered what it was, exactly, that caught his partner's interest. Humans were all the same- especially the trainers- and were barely identifiable when in large crowds. And humans apparently looked significantly different from each other.

Abruptly a light chuckle escaped Yuki, it so quiet that there was a chance it would go unnoticed, as the teen glanced toward his Pokemon counterpart. Pushing off the wall to stand up straight, Yuki ran a gloved hand through his dark brown hair and replied to Arian's words in a soft voice. He was never one to speak loudly no matter the circumstances and this introduction would be no different from past conversations. Even when he was informing Professor Oak about his most recent adventure, he had used a soft-spoken voice as if trying not to disturb anything with his volume.

"Yuki Sorano. Kanto. Seventeen." Glancing briefly at Mewtwo, another conversation being silently held, Yuki then gestured toward the bipedal Pokemon with an offhanded wave of the hand. "Mewtwo." While the trainer waited to see if this Arian teen from Unova would attempt to continue the conversation, Yuki slipped his hands into his pants pockets before scanning the surroundings just as Mewtwo had. Don't forget, Mewtwo, that I am also human. There was a telepathic scoff at the reminder before, at the far edges of his mind, Yuki swore he heard Mewtwo comment that Yuki was hardly human.

Latios and Latias were soaring through the skies at speeds of Mach 14, passing several jet planes as they flew.

"How long till we get to the Sinnoh region?" Liz shouted.

"In about three minutes, Mount Coronet should be up ahead! Be patient, young one!" Latias said. Upon saying that, Latios and Latias immediately dove down through the clouds! Heero stared straight, while Liz and Enchantress held on tightly to them. Behind the clouds, they saw an enormous white mountain with glaciers on top! On the very peak of the mountain lay some kind of ruins there. As they got closer and closer, Heero and Liz concluded it was the Spear Pillar!

They landed on the platform of the ruins. Heero and Liz realized they were both invisible this whole time, but slowly they began to see one another and the Pokemon as well.

"We're here." Latios said deeply, "And look, some of the other have arrived, too."

Heero looked over his shoulder and widened his eyes in awe while turning around completely. "Liz, look! It's Lugia and Mewtwo!" Heero stared at them while Latios and Latias flew forward to meet their legendary brethren.

"Shaymin, Celebi, Suicune, Victini..." Liz whispered to herself then uttered in excitement, "I've never seen so many legendaries in one spot before!"

Heero walked closer to the group, noticing they were all staring at he and Liz. He thought to himself they all look like those trainers he's beaten in the past before, and they seemed inferior to his skills. Liz followed close behind him, noticing Latias and Latios looking her direction. Liz first laid eyes on the tall boy with yellow eyes and black hair. She nervously yet joyfully said, "Hi, I'm Liz Zex from Cerulean City! Nice to meet you all!" She smiled said as she turned to everyone else. Heero remained silent and stared at all the people around him with their legendary Pokemon. He wasn't very amused to find all these people around him, which he again looked at as inferior to him. He shook his head and looked to the sky. "And this is Heero!" Liz added.

Latios turned to Lugia, "Very pleased to see you again, old friend." Latias followed behind him and both looked up at the enormous Pokemon.

(Hooray for my cheesy dialogue! Btw Mandi, that was Arian I was referring to.)

((Oh gosh, I think Mandi's right. My post just...blew up before I realized what was going on.))

The place was filling up far faster than Raine would have liked. She didn't have a chance to reply before she suddenly found herself in a shadow, only for the shadow to move on in the next second. Blinking in curiosity, the young woman tilted her head up, one hand shielding her eyes from the sun as she squinted at the silhouette. As the figure in the air descended, eventually landing on the ground, Raine inhaled sharply. She had heard of oddly-colored Pokemon at first, but most of them didn't interest her; the colors seemed to clash horribly, making these "special" Pokemon more of an eyesore. But a black Charizard... Even after the dragon-like Pokemon had been recalled, she stared at the spot it had once stood, longing for a closer examination of such a rare beauty. Reluctantly, she tore her gaze away from that spot to look over at the newcomers. The yellow and orange Pokemon with the V-shaped head seemed respectful enough. In fact, his manner seemed somewhat akin to Celebi's. His human partner was another young woman, a few years older than Raine herself. Beyond that, Raine wasn't quite sure what to make of the older female. As Raine watched, Celebi quickly returned the two's greetings and helped herself to a macaroon. With a sigh, the brunette seated herself on the nearest boulder, preferring to glance around rather to introduce herself once more; she'd rather introduce herself as few times as possible, rather than repeating her name each time someone new came along. Fidgeting around to find a more comfortable position, she allowed her gaze to flicker back and forth whenever she caught a movement.

A tall, white and purple Pokemon and a male teen that was presumably his partner near the wall. Another female in her late adolescent with Suicune. A boy with a Lugia descending on the far end of Spear Pillar. The twin dragons, as well as their passengers, revealing themselves before joining the rest of the group. Raine gave a small, exasperated sigh, rubbing her eyes with one hand. So many people in such a short time... How could she keep up at this rate? Her attention drifted over to her partner, her head turning toward Celebi to check on her progress. Throughout this whole time, the green Pokemon, still clutching the uneaten macaroon, was busy returning the greeting of each of the Legendary Pokemon- except for that strange Pokemon that had chosen to remain far from the others, save for his- at least, Raine assumed the Legendary was male- own partner. For that particular Legendary, Celebi had actually flown by the pair, given them a quick wave, before returning to Raine's side.

Whew! Celebi let out a sigh of relief, dropping down on the trainer's lap. Subconsciously, Raine shifted her arms out of the way to make room for the time-traveler. Talking to everyone is quite stressing, and there are still plenty of Legendaries that have yet to arrive. The close presence of her partner made Raine feel slightly more comfortable. One hand slowly rested itself on Celebi's head, stroking the Pokemon gently as the guardian of the forests examined the free bit of morsel she had received.

"I'm impressed that you can actually keep up with all of them," Raine replied, allowing a small smile. "They're suddenly piling in here."
Believe me, I'm not having an easy time greeting all of them one by one. Seeming to find the macaroon's scent to her liking, the Pokemon popped the treat into her mouth. Well, are there any that you don't recognize?
"Well, I know of Suicune and Lugia, of course." As a native of Johto, it would be surprising if she hadn't. "There's also Latios and Latias, from Hoenn. Shaymin, you've already introduced me to. That just leaves that Legendary that had arrived shortly after we had and the loner."

Another chuckle sounded in her head. That female human's partner is named Victini. Supposedly, he's victory personified, but I really don't know much about him. He comes from Unova.
"That's far."
No, you think?
Dropping the sarcasm just as quickly as it had entered her voice, Celebi continued on with the introduction, And the "loner", as you have so bluntly called him, is Mewtwo from Kanto. At this new piece of information, Raine blinked in surprise.
"Kanto? I've been to Kanto plenty of times, and I've never ever heard of the guy." Her voice was laced with genuine interest this time; the sight of so many other people in one place had forced her enthusiasm to wane. Wasn't this supposed to be a meeting, rather than a social group?
That's to be expected. Unlike most of us, he was created by humans using Mew's DNA, hence his name. I do believe that his experience with those humans have left him rather bitter toward your race. As Celebi continued to explain, she polished off the last of the macaroon. I'm actually surprised that he has chosen to join us today; he always appeared rather reluctant the few times he does come to the meetings.

"'Reluctant' seems to be an understatement," Raine noted mentally, casting another glance at Mewtwo and his partner. Ever since the duo had arrived, they've only reacted to Lugia's partner, and that was only after the latter had chosen to approach them himself.
So what do you think? Celebi glanced around them, her face lighting up a little with pride. See how well we Legendaries get along with each other? You humans should learn from us. At that, Raine smirked a little. In response, the human jerked her thumb toward Mewtwo's direction, keeping her own eyes trained on Celebi. Well, excluding him.

"I'm impressed,"
Raine admitted, unabashed by the confession. "Just with the Legendaries, mind you. Their partners...not so much." She jerked her head toward Lugia's partner. "Take that one, for example. Looks like a delinquent to me. And that guy-"
Raine!
Celebi glanced sharply up at her, a half-exasperated, half-amused look crossing her features. Is there ever a time when you don't try to find something wrong with others? The trainer lifted her shoulders up slightly in a shrug.
"If there was, I can't think of it at the moment," came the airy reply. Celebi sighed, shaking her head in mock disapproval once more.
In any case, I need you to talk to a couple of the other humans. At the request, Raine's body suddenly stiffened. Her mouth dropped open to protest, but once more, Celebi cut her off. I'm not asking you to make friends, Raine. I'm asking you to help me forge alliances. In case something is seriously wrong, I'd rather have a connection with some of the other Legendaries- and their partners, if any- than none at all. As the time-traveler waited for a response, she surveyed each of the other humans once more, trying to figure out which one would probably be the easiest to get along with. By the time she felt Raine's grudging acceptance through their mental link, Celebi had already made a decision.

How about Victini's partner? Celebi asked suddenly, nodding in Rosanna's direction as she drifted off of Raine's lap. His human seems nice.
At that, Raine scoffed. "You only say that because she gave you the macaroon." Ignoring her partner's look of mock outrage, she slid off the rock, dusting her hands on the front of her pants before approaching the pair that Celebi had pointed out.
"So...Rosanna, right?" Raine forced a smile on her face as she stuck out her hand for the other woman to shake, should she choose to. At least she could actually meet the owner of the black Charizard. "The name's Raine." She paused for a moment, raking for a topic that would most likely be of interest to both humans. It took her a couple of seconds before she could think of something. "Have you and Victini known each other for a long time?"

While Raine was taking a step out of her comfort zone, Celebi made her way over to Suicune and the black haired teen. Suicune's ability to purify water was one that Celebi could respect, and the time-traveler definitely did not want to get on the majestic beast's bad side. Who knows when she might require help if the lake of her precious Ilex Forest were to be polluted?
A pleasure to see you again, Suicune, Celebi called out, stopping in front of the two. Hovering at the Aurora Pokemon's face level, the smaller Legendary added, And welcome to you, Ms. Kai. I hope the travel wasn't too harsh for you.

((Edit: Oh typos. Why must you stalk me so?))

((Yo, so I decided I should mention this because I forgot to, but not all Legendaries can speak human-language in Pokemon-verse, so that'll be kept here. Those guys can only communicate with other trainers via their link with their trainer. They can still talk to other pokemon, though, because pokemon are cool like that. Hower, Spear Pillar is all cool and special and it enhances the bond between pokemon and trainer and also allows for mental communication with everyone present, so we don't have to worry about everything I just said as long as we're at the meeting :P

Also, I had no idea that my giant-post-mutation-condition was contagious! This could be srsbsns.))

The flight took a few days. When they arrived in Sinnoh, Lydia ran into a town (she was in such a rush that she took no note of the town's name--geography wasn't interesting to her anyways) to replenish her supplies as well as to purchase a winter coat. After she had donned the coat, she climbed once again upon Ho-oh's back and they took off.

"Are we there yet?" asked Lydia after some time had passed.

Once again, no. Lydia frowned.

"Darn. It would have been cool if--ooh, did you see that cloud? It looked just like an Oddish! You know, clouds are really incredible things! There are many different types--nimbus, stratus and cumulus are the basics. They get made when water that evaporates gets too cold to be a gas anymore, so it starts to condense! It's the hydraulic cycle--evaporation, condensation, precepitation, then the same thing over and over and over and--OW!"

Lydia's rant was cut short when a small pellet of hail struck her in the forehead. Her expression of dismay quickly changed into one of fascination. "Ooh, we never get hail at home! Hail's also part of the hydraulic cycle! It's the precepitation part, though it can also come down as snow or--WHOA"

Once again, Lydia was forced to cut her tirade short as Ho-oh began to gain speed. I've always hated this place. Hold on tight. In response, Lydia clasped Ho-oh's neck tighter as she buried herself into her companion's feathers (which were incredibly soft--Ho-oh kept them remarkably clean). Hail continued to pellet the pair as they flew, though this seemed not to deter Ho-oh.

Just as Lydia was beginning to get irritated iwth the constant pelleting, the hail stopped. After pausing for a moment to make sure she hadn't just imagined it, Lydia removed her face from Ho-oh's feathers. Upon seeing her surroundings, her eyes lit up with excitement!

"WHOA! Look at all of the Legendaries! THIS IS AWESOME!" So excited was Lydia that she nearly fell from Ho-oh's back, but a quick mental reprimand from the magnificent bird caused her to focus on their descent. The moment they touched down, however, Ho-oh barely had a second to remind her to mind her manners before she sprinted off.

"WHOA IT'S LUGIA! I visited your old towner pretty much every day as kid!" she informed the magnificent pokemon. "Really a tragedy that you had to leave, I'm sure it would be nice to still have you and Ho-oh (oh, did I mention that he's my partner?) still around town. But I guess you guys being gone added the whole aura of mystery to the town which was--OOH LOOK OTHER HUMANS!" Before Lugia was able to get a word in, Lydia sprinted off to the small group of people standing around.

"Hi!" she said, brightly. "I'm Lydia! A pleasure to meet you all! Isn't this so cool? Look at all the amazing legendary pokemon! I mean, I've studied them forever and ever but I never thought I'd actually get to meet one, let alone all of them! It's been a relief to finally figure out why I was always so attatched to the Bell Tower, and--oh!" Here she paused for a moment. "Terribly sorry, I have a tendency to rant, or so Ho-oh tells me! It's just that this whole world is so terribly interesting, and I can't help but talk about it! Here, why don't you guys take a turn (Ho-oh says that turns are important!) to talk about things!" With a smile on her face as if she had found the perfect solution, Lydia stood and waited (semi-)patiently.
May the Triforce be with you.

The entire Pillar went dead silent when Lydia landed with the rainbow-colored bird. She immediately started talking and did not stop. Crimson caught bits and phrases like "Bell Tower", which he recognized as a Johto landmark, and discovered the bird's name to be Ho-Oh. It was quite clear that Ho-Oh was not quite as excited to be there as Lydia was (which was no contest).

Crimson was completely, utterly nonplussed. He had never in his life met someone so incredibly outgoing or talkative. He considered calling Shaymin over, trying to slink away without being noticed, at least until the meeting began... But Lydia suddenly stopped talking and looked at all of them expectantly. No way he could escape without her noticing him.

(( I seem to have an immunity to your longpostitis, Saber. I can say everything I need to in relatively short posts, probably because my character just doesn't talk as much. ))

"Oh, it wasn't so bad. I sailed into a couple storms on the way, but nothing I couldn't handle with the help of my pokemon. I just hope they weren't accidental storms," Kai said with a grin. Just as she finished speaking, Lydia and Ho-oh arrived in an excited rush.

Like everyone else, she stared at the frighteningly bubble girl before her. Kai stared for a moment, then decided that someone should say something to the girl. Kai stepped forward and cleared her throat.

"Hello Lydia, I'm Kai. It's nice to meet you too," she said, praying it would be enough to get someone else to say something. She was a friendly girl, but even she had her limits.

Rosanna sat on a boulder looking around at all the lengendary's that were gathering with their partners as Victini went over to greet Latias and Latios. Shaymin, Celebi, Suicune, Lugia, Latias, Latios and Mewtwo, Mewtwo is here, she thought listing the lengendarys that had arrived so far and studying their partners.

Rosanna was partially aware of Victini's conversations through her link as she was gazing around, she was brought back as Celebi's partner approached her. Raine she though as the brunette with amber eyes introduced herself.
"Oh, well I guess you could say I've only officially know Victini for a week, although I first met him when I was a child, so I guess you could say I still have a lot of learning to do" Rosanna said as Victini returned and she passed him another macaroon while she absentmindedly rubbed his head. He then nodded to her before goind to greet Suicune. Greeting Suicune, again Celebi, how was your trip here? Hes asked both of them. He'd been around to all the lengendarys except Mewtwo, at the request of Rosanna, he was waiting for that.
"How about you? How long have you know Celebi?" She asked smiling at Raine.

Their conversation was paused with the arrival of Ho-Oh and his bubbly partner. Rosanna giggled, it also made her feel a bit old, even though she was still young she hadn't been like that for a few years now, although a few of the other humans seemed shocked by her excitement, whereas Rosanna found it a bit contagious. She noticed that Victini left Suicune and Celebi to greet Ho-Oh. She herself would have gone to greet Ho-oh's partner, however someone else had so that was okay, and there would be plenty on time to meet everyone as they didn't even have half the lengendarys, she then began to wonder how many more had human partners, before returning to her conversation with Raine.

Jessica didn't think she'd ever get tired of flying with mew. She's ridden flying pokémon many times before, but this was different. When mew used fly, it lifted her into the air with psychic power. It was almost as if she was a super hero.

They spent two days playing and traveling far and wide. Mew was the most playful pokémon she'd ever met. She could tell that it wanted to take her somewhere... But it seemed that every hour or two it would spot some new town or meadow and they'd be off to explore or play some new game. But it wasn't only its personality that different. Mew was a psychic type, at least she was pretty sure it was, and its powers were immense. But it seemed that every time she thought she had its attacks figured out it would use a new one. All types of moves, all elements... She had never come across a pokémon half that versatile.

"So," she turned to the little pink pokémon next to her, "where are we going, anyway?"

"Mew?" mew blinked, as if just remembering something. "Mew! Mew!" it seemed worried.

Mew began to glow and, suddenly, Jessica felt the world around her fade away.

"Whoa!" she stumbled as the unexpected teleportion dropped her onto a stone floor. Looking around, she found herself in a magnificent place, surrounded by trainers and pokémon that she had never seen before. "Where did you bring us?"

"...U-um, you're at the Spear Pillar..."

It was all Crimson could muster in response to the girl who had appeared out of thin air right in front of him. With a hasty apology, she introduced herself as Jessica or something similar. Crimson was walking away absentmindedly until he realized how rude he had just been; he turned around and introduced himself as well. The small pink Pokémon next to her was communicating with Shaymin... or, at least, trying to, seeing as Shaymin looked a little confused. From the jabbering, Crimson could at least decipher the word "Mew", supposing that to be its name.
