((Named him Gawain, huh? Interesting.

What's his rank? I want to make sure to use the proper address. Calling him just "Gawain" is rude and disrespectful since he seems to be of a higher ranking.))

"I hope we don't have to bring these recruits with us," said Agri, shooting a glare at a new recruit as he left. "They'll get us killed out there. Bah. I could use a mission to get me out of this place," he added as he walked beside Gawain. "So... where're we off to?"

Satisfied with her food, Lekani dismissed her maid for the time being. The maid resumed her post at Lekani's door. After reading through some books for a while, Lekani stood. "Hm... I think I'll go for a ride," she said to herself, just loud enough for the maid to hear. She immediatly rushed to get all of the preparaions ready.

Lekani trotted down a well-worn path, surrounded by a group of four lance knights bearing the crest of House Gaddos as protection. They were taking a ride over to Duke Tanas' Villa, to visit Lekani's friend there. However, the villa was closely located to the Serenes Forest, and Lekani insisted on taking a quick detour through the forest.

It was truely a sight to behold. The maginificent, green trees. The history books told of a time when the trees had all been burned, and the forest was a desolate place. You wouldn't be able to tell that had ever happened by looking at the trees now. Lekani lead her horse under a particularly large tree to take a short break.

Kako
Suddenly, five men come out of the bushes and surround you. They're all wearing rough, cheap rags as clothing. They're wielding Bronze Daggers, except for one who seems to be the leader; that one has a Bronze Sword.. They seem to be highway bandits. "And what might a little lady be doing wandering out here, alone?" the leader asked smugly.


Amidamaru
"I'm a messenger of King Kurthnaga. He wants me to inform you that Lady Kako is returning to Goldoa. She's one of our own and we must ensure her safe passage. Fly North, into the Serenes forest; she'll be in the Southwestern region."


Agri
(His rank is Brigadier)
After leading you out of the training area, and you're both out of the earshot of the trainees, he stops and responds. "These trainees will stay here. The Queen wants this matter dealt with quietly. Do not utter a word of this to anyone." Gawain turns and points at the sun. "Meet here when night falls; bring your weapon, bring your armor. I'll explain this mission fully then. Understood?"

Lekani
All around you, you can hear the sounds of nature. Birds sing and crickets chirp. The wind blows gently on your face. It's truly a peaceful sight. Despite the peace, however, you feel foreboding in the air, and you have the feeling you're being watched.

Absolutely, *takes flight southwest*. Lady Kako, whom may she be?

Mutters to self "Getting lost." She smiles friendly at them. " I"m looking for a place called Elpis, would any of you happen to know where it is?"

[Metalheadz]

Gotta fly faster... *zooms towards the southwest woods*

[Saber Knight]

"Hmph. There goes the beer. But, this does sound more exciting," he said with a grin. "Alright, Brigadier Gawain, I'll see you later, then. By your leave...." With that, Agri headed off to prepare himself.

That night ((provided it's okay to skip to then and you had nothing in store between then and the night))

Agri went to the determined meeting place, wearing his armor and with his axes, along with some traveling money.

"Hrmmm...."

"What is it, my lady?" a soldier inquired instantly. "Do you require something?"

"I just have a bad feeling," Lekani said. "You there," she said, pointing to one of her guards, "Scout out the surrounding area."

"At once, my lady."

*btw everyone, I've found a more accurate map of Tellius. In this one, the things are all spelled correctly and you can see the borders of the countries.*

You see on the horizon the mountains that mark Goldoa's border; the Serenes forest lies beyond them.


Kako
"Hmp! This is our territory. You must pay a fee for safe passage!" The man draws his sword. It doesn't seem you'll be able to get through without a fight.


Agri
((Yes, it is ok to skip forward.))
Gawain stood in the designated place, along with the other units of your brigade. There were three soldiers, each wearing the black armor of Daein soldiers. They held their Steel lances upright, tips pointed up towards the sky, and held their shields at their sides. There were two fighters, not including yourself, wearing armor much like your own and each had a Steel Axe slung over his shoulder. There were two knights wearing thick, heavy black armor and Steel Blades sheathed at their hips. Finally, there were three archers with Steel Bows.
"Ahhh, Agri. Glad you could make it," Gawain said. "I'll get to the point. Lord Euriel of Marado is organizing a rebellion. Our task is to go to Marado and arrest him. We must go about this quietly, so he doesn't see it coming and flee. We especially don't want his conscripts to be expecting our arrival. If things go as planned, we can accomplish this without a fight."

Lekani
The guards search, but find nothing. The foreboding aura in the air continues to hang heavy.

[*^_^*kako]

Kako giggles softly. " I'm very sorry sir, but you've picked the wrong person to rob for you see." Kako turns out pockets and there is no money. " You've picked a poor person." Kako's money is hidden in her shoe. " Why else would a little lady as you so kindly put it be wondering out here without a map?" Smiles and lays her staff agents a tree and bends down to lay bag on ground and digs through it. "However sense you went through all this trouble and I am in your territory I have something much better to give you. A consolation prize if you will. " Kako takes out a sketch book and quickly starts to doodle the men. "Um you." Points to guy 1 that was talking. "Can you move in a little closer to him?" Points to other guy 2, then walks over and pulls him over to guy 2. Smile happily. "O-k perfect." Draws them and then hands picture to guy one. "Taaaaaa Daaaaaa. I bet thats much better then what you thought you where going to get huh." Nudges him with elbow. "Oh that will be 200 gold by the way." Holds out hand to receive gold.

Kako
The robbers are completely dumbfounded. The leader, after standing there confused a moment, pulls out 200 gold from his pocket and gives it to you, and then they walk away, confused.

"Just where I need to be" Amidamaru soars through and lands in the forest. "Now where could the Lady Kako be?" He starts wandering through the woods.

[Saber Knight]

((Crap... realized how far away Gaddos is from Tanas. :P Whoops. We'll just say the ride took a couple days)).

Since there search found nothing, Lekani shrugged and continued to wander through the forest, enjoying the scenery.

"Ooh.... this wasn't the greatest idea," Ladra muttered to herself. "This place looks completly different in the night than it does in the daylight.... I always forget the terrible night vision I have." She was stumbling through back allyways in Nevassa. Finally, frusturated, she took wing to try to get a better view of things. It didn't help all that much since she couldn't see far in the dark, regardless.

"I'm not getting anywhere this way... guess I'll fly for a bit...." After flying about for several minutes, Ladra thought she spotted something on the ground. She squinted in an attempt to see better. Hey... that looks like people! Ooh! And they have something shiny! After hesitating a tad, she decided to fly down and check it out. She could always take wing if things went poorly. Plus, she was rather bored.

Agri glanced around, noting his companions. "Sounds simple enough," he said in response to Brigadier Gawain's information. "Hmph. However, sir, I do believe we'll get in a fight, regardless. Things always seem to turn out that way. Not that I mind," he added as an afternote, grinning slightly to himself.

Just then, a raven girl touched down nearby. She turned to look at the group, frowining. "Oh dear," she said. "Those shinys all were weapons, weren't they? Ah well. That's a shame." Her eyes flicked from person to person. "Er... you guys don't look all that happy," she observed.

"What are you doing here?"

"Uh... not much." Ladra shrugged. "Just... flyin' around... innocently enough... not doin' anything wrong." She flashed an innocent-looking grin at the group.

Smiles brightly and takes shoe off and puts coins in shoe. "Wow I can't believe that worked." Waves good bye to them as they leave. "Have a nice day!" Kako starts walking west toward Susa and farther away from Elpis.

Amidamaru
You hear rustling to your left, as well as grunts and mumbling. It seems to be a group of men walking by.


Agri, Ladra
"The odds that you just happened upon us here are quite unlikely. This area is restricted after all," Gawain says sternly, "However, if you were an enemy spy, you wouldn't land in front of us in such a way. You're likely just lost." Gawain scratches his beard for a moment. "If you come with me now, miss, I will personally guarantee you will not be harmed, and you will be released promptly. I can't take a chance that you're a spy, because if you were, and our plans were known, it might very well result in a full-scale conflict. Do you understand?" Three soldiers apprehend Ladra firmly, but not painfully.


Kako
You eventually find the end of the forest and see the tall stone mountains in front of you. Upon some of the rocks at the base there's some moss. On all the rocks, the moss points to your right, and since moss only points north, it means that you've been heading west.

"OH NO!" Sits down on ground. "I've been heading west the whole time." Sighs then takes out some food and eats it. "Well i guess i can start heading south now." Looks up in the sky. " I wonder how much time in-teal it gets dark. Maybe i should just pitch up tent already."
