"Well, this isn't a good mach up. Gravler, return! Go, Grotle!"

((XD The most amazing team I've ever had was Rock the Claydol and Roll the Breloom in Pokemon XD. I kind of figured a Rock/Psychic type wouldn't work in a Fighting Gym... so I took a slightly different approach. Instead of harnessing the power of Rock and Roll, Kyoushi Rick Rolls his opponents into Submission!))

"...Pokegear? Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that since it's been replaced by both Pokenavs and Poketchs... both of which are lame in comparison anyway." Kyoushi mused before bothering to check it. "It's... Chuck? Aw, crap." He answered the Pokegear, and before the Gym Leader could get a word in, blurted out, "I'm on my way back the Gym, it's not my fault, that Mankey is Satan incarnate!"

[Atma]

@Saber:As you get closer to the tower, you notice there is a battle going on outside between the tower's monks and several mysterious figures dressed in black and white outfits.

@Gar:"Easy still! Roll em out Donphan!" The bald man calls out as his Donphan wheels it's way towards your Grotle. What attack will you use?

@Silver:On your way to the gym, you notice a ferry preparing to depart for Olivine city. But you ignore it and continue to head to the gym, where Chuck is waiting with his Poliwrath. What pokemon will you use for this one on one battle?

[Giga-Gar]

Donphan used Rollout! It's not very effective. "Grotle, use gigadrain!" It's super effective! Grotle restored it's health! "Hey, you're right, this is going to be easy!"

[Saber Knight]

"That's new. I've never seen those people before." Erika said, continuing to think out loud. "Well, they're making a mess of things. All that smoke is probably dangerous for the tower. I'll just tell them to take their battle elsewhere."
"Haunter!" Said her Haunter, seemingly in agreement. Erika cheerily walked over the battling people.

[Silver]

"A battle... well, Rick's still asleep, and he's still Satan incarnate, so you better get ready to roll, Roll." Kyoushi muttered to his Breloom as they arrived at the Cianwood gym.

[Josiah]

Shane moved quickly between the stalls in the Sunyshore marketplace, weaving through the other shoppers with a sort of reckless grace. Before long he reached the far corner and approached a rather rickety stall.

"Hi Shane." the balding man behind the counter greeted him. "Here to pick up Volkner's order?"

"Yeah, but make it quick. There's supposed to be some new challengers coming to the gym today and I want to be back in time to battle them."

"Here you go." the shopkeeper handed him a large parcel. "Tell Volkner thanks for me."

Shane nodded. "Will do. Later!" In a moment he was off again, dodging through the stalls on his way back to the gym.

[Atma]

@Gar:"Grrr! Shake it off Donphan! Mow him down now!" The fat man calls out with rage. His Donphan begins to roll slightly faster and prepares to mow your Grotle down for good. What attack will you use next?

@Saber:One of the monks takes their eyes off the battle and looks at you. "Get away child! This is much too dangerous for you!", but before he can order his Misdreavus to take any initiative, he and his partner are ruthlessly pinned down by a Mightyena and a vicious Houndoom. The men in black uniforms look up at you with a smirk that declares you're next. Will you run away or will you stand and fight?

@Silver:"I see..."Chuck says eying your Breloom. "You remember the rules for these practice sessions, right Kyoushi?" Do you answer yes or no?

@Josiah:As you exit the store, you see a Plusle and Minun run towards you. Both squeaking and yelping for you to follow them. Do you ignore them or continue onward to the gym?

Liv was training her Dratini, Megumi, at the dragon cave behind the gym. She was having it attack a practice dummy she set up.When she finished she recalled Megum into it's pokeball and then left the cave.

((sorry, kinda braindead right now.))

[Giga-Gar]

"Hey buddy, you do know that grass types are resistant against ground type attacks." Tony stated. "Ok Grotle, use Gigadrain again! That should end this battle!"

((FYI, Grotle is at least Level 47 if it knows Gigadrain.))

[Silver]

((Rollout isn't Ground; it's Rock, which does normal damage to Grass types. Not to mention level 47 seems a bit high for the start of a roleplay and in the second gym... I know I'm not in charge here, but just saying...))

"Well, yeah, but for the sake of stalling my inevitable defeat, I'm going to answer no. Refresh my memory please." Kyoushi replied, covering up the fact that I don't know the rules for their practice sessions at all.

[Saber Knight]

"Attacking while their back was turned, now that's unsportsmanlike." Commented Erika, shaking her head. She then quickly snatched her pokeball containing Drifloon and released her from her pokeball.
"Drifloon!"
"Really, I feel we should take this battle elsewhere. I don't think it's too good for the Tower to be battling around here."

[Atma]

@Auragongal:Before you leave the cave, you see a small blue fin poke out of the ground and proceed towards you. What will you do?

@Gar:The fat man's Donphan faints as the last of his energy is sapped away. "NOOOOOOO!" The fat man cries in grief. He then looks at you with rage and gets ready to punch your lights out. Fortunately, he is stopped dead in his tracks by a poison dart in his neck. You turn around and see Gardenia with her Roserade looking at you with a stern glare. "Gym! Now!"

@Silver:"I had a feeling you'd forget. Fine We'll go over them again." Chuck says with a smile. "Our pokemon use strictly fighting techniques. No other attack types." He then nods to his Poliwrath to walk in front of him and enter it's fighting stance. It then moves it's hand in a sort of "Come on!" taunt to your Breloom

@Saber:"Little girls should stay out of grown up business." Says the leader of the black suited men. "Especially when it's Team Rocket business!" He then points his finger forward and commands his underlings to sic their pokemon on you. Now will you run or will you fight?

[Giga-Gar]

Tony was about to tell her that they were already in the gym, but didn't want to point that out, seeing as she isn't in a very good mood. "Yes ma'am." He paused for a minute before asking "Is there anything you need from me?"

[Silver]

Yeah, I had a feeling it was something like that. I-I mean, Kyoushi rolled his eyes and dejectedly commented, "Which is why me and my Grass-Type still can't win..." But decided a moment later that he should at least pretend to be confident in Roll's abilities. "Anyway, let's start this off with Mach Punch!"
