Ignoring the gym leaders, Poik notices a boy maybe two years younger than him who stopped moving when Roxanne did. Curious and curiouser. Yes I did just want to type that. Well, I'm sort of a co-narrator I can do what I want. Poik then tried the oldest trick in the book to let the kid know that he's not as sneaky as he thinks. A second later he bursts into the room without a word.
"Ha, the creepy stare works every time. Was this one stalking you or was it my imagination?" Poik asked. "Oh sorry, how rude of me. Poik?"

(Fair enough. This does however make things more interesting)

@Doodleshark:As you exit the pokemon center, you bump into a strange girl mesmerized by the pretty lights! Chasing her is a young boy her age. You decide this would be a good time to break in your new Beldum and challenge them to a double battle.

@Celebifly and Nabmaster:See above somewhat. Do you both accept the challenge of this mysterious stranger?

@Poikspirit/Phonox:Before either of you decides to challenge the other to a battle, Roxanne and Norman hold you both back and look at eachother with a sigh. "I...think we need to talk about some things." Norman suggests. So five minutes later, you're both briefed on the other's story, et cetera. "Interesting..." Norman says stroking his chin. "I was just about to send Brent to look for Professor Birch." Roxanne then added "And since my 'favorite' student decided to follow me, he can accompany yours!" and with that you're both prompted to head to Oldale town to look for the Professor.

[Kaida]

"We'll there's probably more inside then outside so..." Jing said as he wondered in the back door of the lab.

[Doodleshark]

Kevin's eye twitched as he pointed at the pair. "YOU!!! I challenge you to MORTAL KOMBA- I mean, a double battle. Beldum, Rhyhorn, I choose you!"

[Celebifly]

(I....I somehow missed your post Nab. Sorry 'bout that....-hides-)

Crotank eagerly snatched a pokeball, but relized that her Altaria would be too worn out to battle, so she grabbed her other pokebll.
"I accept." She smirked.

[NabMaster]

Retsam grinned at the mention of a battle and said, "Sounds good to me, Tangela, you know what to do!"
With that, Tangela jumps off of his head and runs into the battle.

[Celebifly]

"Go, Kecleon." she sent out her new pokemon. (I'm saying he got magically healed after I battled it) "Alright, let's see how we do....use Psybeam!" Kecleon lunged forward and sent out the psychic attack.

[Doodleshark]

"Beldum, block it!" The Psychic-type attack barely affected the 4x resistant Pokemon. With that out of the way, Kevin turned his attention to the Tangela. "A Grass type, eh? That'll have no chance against my... Poison..." Kevin realized that he had not sent out his at the start Gastly or Weepinbell, despite the fact that Poison type Pokemon were his specialty. He also realized that he had instead had sent out a Rock/Ground type instead of a Poison type in a city that's renowned for having a Gym Leader who loves plants. "...Well, crud. Anyways, we'd better take out that Tangela first. Lesse..." Kevin ran through a mental list of Rhyhorn's attacks. "Rhyhorn, hit that Tangela with a Rock Blast! Beldum..." Kevin then realized that he, never expecting to come across a Beldum as they were very rare, did not know any of it's attacks. "Erm... Just use whatever as long as it hurts the big ball of noodles with red feet!" Beldum obeyed, using an attack that Kevin recognized as Take Down.

@Kaida:You peer into the laboratory of the great Professor Oak. Everything was in tip top shape. From the machines to the stacks upon stacks of pokeballs. It wasn't anything like Blaine's lab. Just then, you hear a noise coming from the next room! Will you check it out?

[Phonox]

(Atma, are you basing distance off of the shows where it takes a few days to move from one town to another, or the game where you can get there in maybe 2 minutes? I'll assume the more resonable one for now)

"Wait, Oldale town? Isn't that a few days away?" Seth asked Roxanne.

[Astral Omega]

"Okay, Angus; Fake Out!" She started immediately on the offensive.

[NabMaster]

*twitch twitch* "...What did you just call my Tangela?" Retsam said with an evil look in his eye. "Alright Tangela, show him what we've got, vine whip that Rhyhorn!"

[Kaida]

"Okay, Vulpix you can't make any messes in here." Jing said to Vulpix who suddenly went very quiet.
Jing slowly went to check out the next room where the noise had come from. Her looked around the door with Vulpix looking around from behind his feet.

[Celebifly]

"Kecleon, use Lick on the Beldum, try to paralyze it!" Crotank commanded.

[Atma]

@Phonox/Poikspirit:(The latter. Way too silly if I went by animu standards)"Of course not." Roxanne tells Seth. "Get going you two." Norman adds. "Think of this as a good learning experience." When you both leave the city, you both encounter a wild Poochyena. Who wants to catch it?

@Astral:Your opponent's Skarmory flinches just a little. Then it's trainer calls for it to swoop at your Makuhita with Steel wing. What will you do?

@Kaida:When you peer into the next room, you are greeted with a mustache being drawn on your face by a Smeargle! Do you follow it to see what it's doing?

@Celebifly/Nabmaster/Doodleshark:Your battle is eventually cut short by the sound of a familiar voice (To Crotank and Retsam anyway) "AHA! I knew you kids were up to no good!" Detective Dan immediately bursts onto the scene with two police officers accompanying him. "Attacking an innocent civilian and his pokemon! I should have known you two were crooks! Book em boys!"
