Nadira took a few deep breaths, staring into the cool darkness of the room she had slept in. She reached a hand up to her head and it came away with sweat. The nightmare had come once again. Nadira sat up, holding her head. "Well... I probably won't be going back to sleep. Better get up.", she said to the shadows.
Grabbing her saber from under the pillow, she got up and retrieved her cloak from the desk, sliping it over her shoulders.

"Hmmph. Do you not trust me, Master? No matter." Barbas muttered something about "Jedi Scum", then asked, "Will I be able to take some droids along with me, or will I have the... pleasure of slaying the Jedi myself?"

Nirak sat up from his bed, and punched the wall.
"... Why am I with these rebels... And who tried to assassinate me..."
He shook his head and stood up, making his way to the bridge.
"First chance I get I'm changin ships and headed to Tatooine... The lowlifes there might know something..."

Nadira exited the room and made her way to the bridge. She sensed Thane before she actually saw him. "Goodmorning...", she said, stepping up to stand beside him. She then noticed the bounty hunter and felt his rather fowl mood. "And goodmorning to you...", she said quietly to him.

"Understood, Master." And so, Barbas left for his ship, not bothering to wash up. He was far, far too excited to do so. Master said nothing about killing the Jedi. I'm going to have some fun with this... Barbas was looking forward to a Jedi killing or two. As his ship went into lightspeed, Barbas began to chuckle. I do hope that she has no beauty. It might cause me to... hesitate. His laughter grew louder and colder as he neared his destination.

*The rebel base on Gand was a mass of activity. The docks were especially busy as several ships appeared to have landed at the same time.*
"So Thane, what are your plans now that we're here?" *Nadira asked as they wove through the crowd.*
"First we should tell the leaders here about the destruction of the academy and the reemergence of the Sith. Perhaps they will help us perhaps not. Either way, their response will dictate our next move. I just hope that we have enough time to prepare before the situation grows too dire. Already the future is being clouded by the dark side, I'm sure I don't need to tell you that's not a good sign."

"Okay..so now we get in." said Wonkit. "Just scramble signals until we get the access code." jhe said. Before long, they had landed in the hangar nex to a dropship.
"Hey! Where's your clearance!" a man asked them angrily.
"Clearance? Here's our damn clearance." said Wonkit, shoving the one armed-revel towards the official. "Maybe I should just leave him here with you."
"Get this man to the medical bay!"

"And that's the situation." *Thane finished, concluding his and Nadira's description of the Sith and the fate of the academy.*
"That is indeed troubling." *One of the Rebel leaders replied.* "But we are already fighting a war. We don't have the resources to commit an entire army to a battle from which most of them probably won't return.
"But we can't just let the Sith take over! They're the greatest threat by far!"
"You may be right but, ultimately, it is a matter for Jedi. But I didn't say we wouldn't help you, I only said that we couldn't give you an army. However, I will call a meeting tomorrow for everyone on this base. I will explain the situation and those who wish to join you can. If neccessary, we will also provide you with a ship and supplies. I'm afraid that's all I can promise."
"I see."*Thane sighed.* "Thank you for your cooperation." *he turned to go with Nadira close behind him.*

Nirak strolled around the rebel base slowly, getting angry looks by the many soldiers there.
"Why am I here... Is there some Purpose as to why I'm at such a... Poor excuse for a base?"
He thought for a second.
"Right... I was about assassinated..."

Nadira was still following behind Thane, but she had become utterly silent. There was no clear expression on her face and she gave no sign of how she felt. Completely abstracted, she merely made sure she was not seperated from her fellow Jedi. A feeling of dread was looming over her and had been since she had first woken up.

"There's not much we can do before the promised meeting." *Thane broke the silence.* "I'm going to talk with some of the rebel soldiers and see if I can learning anything useful." *He strolled off into the base, leaving the still silent Nadira alone in the passage. Once she was out of sight he quickly turning down a small side tunnel. Although he full intended to converse with the soldiers, he had some other matters to attend to first. Things that, for the time being, he prefered not to share with his companion.*
