I'm starting my own Pokemon Sprite Comic

Web Comics are usually updated every few days with a single comic. You don't just put them all on at once.

Cheez is correct. Your average web comics starts out with strip 1 and then adds a new strips on a regular schedule (typically one strip per day, anywhere from 1 to 7 days per week). For example, Pebble Version updates three times a week so I add a new strip every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some people create new comics strips immediately before putting them online. Others, like myself, use what's called a buffer, which means you make extra comics ahead of time so if something happens and you can't make new strips for a little while you still have a few you can use before running out so updates can continue. Your average buffer though is only a week or two worth of new strips.

So, in other words, waiting until you've got an entire story arc completed before putting your comic online is pretty unusual. Also, as aura said, it could take a while. Now I don't know what pace your plot will be going to go at... But Pebble Version, for example, has been running for over five years and has more than 800 strips so far...and Brendan and May haven't even gotten their fourth gym badge yet. If you wait till you finish an arc (even if you do so in only 50 or 100 strips) it could be quite a long time before your comic goes online.

Just to say, I WILL update only Monday's. Wednesdays, and Fridays. But these comics are really hard to make as it is, so I'd like to have a ton already finish in case I fall behind a few times or get writer's block or something. I just want to be working on MSC by the time I start FRYBG.
