5th Genereation confirmed?

Since Pebble Version is a Pokemon comic, the forums need a place to discuss anything and everything Pokemon.

I have Black, but I've heard more people say White is better than vice-versa.

Blunt...? That was a well-planned essay...

It's a preference thing, really, though most people do tend to prefer White. Major differences:
White has Zekrom (Dragon/Fire), Black has Reshiram (Dragon/Electric)... also note the other version exclusives, but they're easier to trade for (since I've got White and Colly has Black, I've got access to most of them).
White Forest and Black City... should be easy to figure out which game has which. Keep in mind that the Dream World can be used from either game and a lot of Pokemon from White Forest can be caught there as well.
Opelucid City's gym leader and BGM change depending on the version; Iris and a more classical sounding tune in White, Drayden and a sort of techno arrange in Black.

Other than that, there are a few slight map changes and some differences in NPC dialog... mostly, White Version has more of a nature theme while Black has a technology theme.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Seems like I've made my choice on what I'll get, then. I'm leaning towards White, now.

However, if in any case in the future there will be a 3rd game in the same generation and region (ex. Emerald and Platinum) I'll definitely get that. Unless I get truly desperate, I'm gonna spend my gift card money on White.

If past experience is any example, I think a third game is not a question of if but a question of when. But, then again, you never know. Gamefreak might decide to do things differently, you know, cause they do that sometimes. Like that time when they...Ok, maybe they don't.

I don't know how legit this is, but this is the only source I have on that topic. In any case, I'm gonna start toughening up my teams from my Gen 4 games, then will transfer all the Pokemon to my Gen 5 game.

I finally started playing Pokemon Black, but I'm somewhat annoyed that Giga Drain, Roost, Avalanche and Stealth Rock are no longer TM's.

I'm more annoyed at the fact the Dragon Pulse and Dark Pulse (Dark in particular) are no longer tms.
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
That spikes you when you pick it up

I'm extremely annoyed that Water Pulse isn't a TM anymore.

Eh. We get Scald, which I think to be a fair-ish replacement.

I like Scald. Though it's still hard to beat Surf for a straight up water attack.

Double posting to let everyone know that they're giving away a special Vicinti via Nintendo wi-fi from Dec 3 through the end of the year.

I need to do a couple of trade evolutions and pick up a final few pokémon to complete my pokédex if anyone is willing to help.

I need:
Archen or Acheops
Rufflet or Braviary
Thundurus
Zekrom

Since my backup device and my Wii (with Pokémon Ranch) are back in Florida, my trade options are somewhat limited but I can trade Tirtouga, any off the B/W starters, Zorua or quite a lot of the gen 1 - 4 pokémon.

I'd love to help you out, Josiah, as I have all of those but Thundurus (and could track him down pretty easily, I've just been lazy about it because I think his design is terrible)... but unfortunately, we got a new router pretty recently. Said router apparently only works when set to WPA... So no DS Internet for me. Not unless I go to Colly's house, but that is a very rare occurrence...

You'd think I could at least grab Archen and Rufflet off the GTS but no, the only people on GTS all want legendaries (generally level 100 or an impossibly low level) or level 100 pokémon of other types. <.<
