Edited pokemon sprites

Post by Keenarnor »

Ok I've looked around the forums a bit and I've seen some pretty weird looking Pokemon. Like one is a Goldanphy or something XP it's like Pokemon A and B were combined to make Pokemon C ya know? How the heck do you guys do that? Is everyone here a talented sprite editor or something?

There are a lot of people on the forum that like to edit sprites, but I’d say the best is Silver and Celebifly. You take two or more pokemon sprite and play around with mixing the different parts until you have something you can work with. There are a lot of spiriting user guides you can follow on the internet if you were interested in making your own.
"BOW BEFORE THE SHAUNINESS THAT IS SHAUNI! "--Shadowman

"Shauni fell down a drainage ditch and died. That was the end of her pokemon journey. "--Shauni

Those would be IPA, which has its own section conveniently located in the 'Everything Else' section. You can join if you so desire by posting a request to do so in the IPA discussion thread.

But as shauni kind of mentioned, the splices are all either mine or Opal's. Mostly mine at this point. Splicing isn't exactly hard... I guess doing it WELL is a different story, but... there are guides, such as the ones at The Cave of Dragonflies, for that.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

"Why is that woman smiling?"
"Because she's standing infront of a crazy guy with a gun."
