Looking Back:
And we finally come to the last strip to use this up close zoom level. There are times when I miss it, but if I wanted to keep the sprites at this size, I'd really have to abandon the four panel format and make much larger comics.
On another technical note, if you pay attention you may notice that the spacing between the lines of text is a bit large compared to newer strips. Well, for a while after I switched to Photoshop I didn't know how to adjust line spacing. Actually, I didn't even know I could (it wasn't an option in Paint). So not only is it not quite right in these earlier Photoshop strips, it can be a bit inconsistent at times as well. Once I did figure the spacing control out, there was a period where I had a lot of time to kill so I went back and fixed the spacing a various other problems in a lot of the old strips. I didn't get through the entire archives though (if I remember right, I stopped somewhere in the 400's) so, the older strips still have some issues.
